It had been always my bucket list since long and it was not that easy to accomplish in my life. The day had high solar activities but the weather was full of cloudy and foggy.
However we managed 2nighs ago! With our very first Aurora hunting with Oren the guide.
He put a lot of effort to find the right place and amazing pictures ????
The night the Aurora danced when I close my eyes for taking a sleep.
I will never be able to forget it.????????

La persévérance de notre guide a fini par payer puisque nous avons enfin vu de nombreuses aurores boréales. Avec le ciel nuageux, ce n’était pas gagné et nous avons beaucoup roulé, testé différents spots jusqu’à enfin trouvé L’endroit !
Un guide très sympathique, très motivé, passionné, qui adore nous partager ses connaissances sur les aurores et la région.
L’escale saucisse/chamallow dans un tipi autour d’un feu était sympathique.

This was our first visit to Rovaniemi. I wish to thank our very special guide Natasha for yesterday evening's tour (13/02/24). She did her utmost to show us the aurora's activity, moving to 3 different locations where we finally succeeded in watching this spectacular event on a starry night. Natasha is a very knowledgeable and passionate guide who loves her job, very dedicated and committed to answering our requests. She made our evening a memorable souvenir.

Der Erfolg der Northern Lights Touren ist natürlich komplett abhängig vom Wetter. Wir hatten das Pech, mehrere Tage Tauwetter zu haben. Das heißt, der Himmel war ununterbrochen bewölkt und es schneite. Die Guides tun ihr bestes, spontan irgendwo hin zu fahren, wo der Himmel aufbrechen könnte, und sie zeigen einem schöne Stellen, an denen sie auch schöne Fotos machen, die man sich später herunterladen kann. Nach mehreren Stunden Fahrt war eigentlich noch das obligatorische Campfire geplant, was bei einer Borealis auch richtig Sinn macht, aber unsere Gruppe war sich zum Glück einig, lieber früher zurück zu fahren. Wir hatten das Glück einer tollen niederländischen Guidin namens Charlotte, mit der wir einen schönen und lustigen Abend erleben durften. Schade, dass er nicht grün endete.
Sie hat auch tolle Bilder von einem gemacht vor den Nordlichtern.
Es war eine Freude die Tour zu machen und nochmals vielen Dank für das tolle Erlebnis ????
