This hotel has not recovered from the uprising last year. It is tired and run down. Breakfast at A$52 was a very limited buffet without a cooking station. Both restaurants have closed for dinner and the only food available at night are Pizzas at A$36 each.|Room aircon only ran to a freezing 19C and after two engineer visits we were told that that was typical, so we left the veranda door open. The hot water ran cold until we were told that it had to run for 10 minutes for the hot to come through. The shower water did not drain and flooded the bathroom floor. The general condition of the hotel was good, however things like the switched off abandoned water coolers in the lift lobby and the ripped covers on the sea front lounges reminded me that my previous visits were in better times. All that for A$363 a night is a rip off.

not only that we struggled with the terribly smelly room i had to pay extra night. would not stay again ever again at this hotel.
the loction is to fare from everything and there is nothing there.
We were there with my son for Karate competition with Australian team and we book this hotel for 7 nights. the first night we arrived the we were tired and the room was smelly, we told them next day they clean it but after few hours it will be back. after 5 night they put us in to different room. also the last night i paid because we were leaving early and the man told me just drop the keys, next morning the lady asking mt to pay for last night, i keep telling them i paid here is receipt but she keep will say no you have to pay last night.

Décevant, n’a de Meridien que le nom.||La qualité ne cesse de décroître au faré.||Nous avons commandé des fish and chips, visiblement l’huile n’est pas changée régulièrement, tous les convives sont rentrés chez eux malades, certains ont vomis … direction avertie par un autre biais, pas de réponse adaptée, un message automatique sans doute le même que celui que j’aurai en commentaire de cet avis…. Ne me remerciez pas de partager mon avis!

Suite à une réservation de spa, nous avons déjeuné en version snacking à 13 h , un samedi où le chef ne devait pas être débordé!
2 tables prises pour le snack !
3 couverts et 3 Fish and chips …. Et 3 personnes malades. On n’a jamais digérer la graisse des poissons et des frites! Peut être huile de la friteuse à remplacer ! Scandaleux pour un tel établissement !
