Bel hôtel bien situé
Hotel récent près de tout. Bon petit déjeuner. Chambres agréables et fonctionnelles. Ne manque que l'eau chaude pour les douches (4 nuits)

Cozy hotel and very friendly staff. Good food in the restaurant. Good beds. Other furniture dated/worn. Clean rooms. Located 10 min walk away from the centre pier and the beaches.

Great simple rooms. They have everything you need, are clean, cleaned daily, the staff made an effort to say hello. The restaurant has decent food and the staff is accommodating. A perfectly simple and good hotel!

Hôtel où nous n’avons jamais mis les pieds malheureusement. Car il s’est permis d’annuler notre réservation la veille de notre arrivée. Réservation qui date d’il y a environ 2mois . Sans compter sur les divers augmentations de prix au cours de la dernière semaine.
Pour des voyageurs que nous sommes c’est la 1re fois que cela nous arrive. Pas très sérieux comme hôtel.

We’ve been here for 4 days with our parents and an almost 3 year old in an appartment with 2 beds and a kitchen. I have to admit it has been a very “double” experience. The room had several defects. 2 out of 3 ACs were not working. There is only one key for the room, so if you don’t hand it to the reception in time the room won’t be cleaned. There was a light not working. There was a closet broken. The door handles were lose… To be honest, I’ve rarely slept in a room with so many issues.

Some of the people working there are very nice and helpfull, especially when you see them at breakfast or around the pool during the day.

The reception on the other hand is a disaster, with several people complaining about airconditionings not working, a very strange laundry service which costs apparently €4 per kilo but who get’s the money when there are no invoices??

Fix all these small issues, when your guests have small issues, offer something… a drink? A discount? Just something to compensate… and you’ll be close to a 5 star rating. For now… too many little defects.

Klein fijn hotel ongeveer 35 kamers, leuk klein zwembad goede keuken en vlakbij centrum en strand. En de aardigste receptionist van het hele eiland, Ronaldo, hij regelt echt alles.

Très bone expérience dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est à l'écoute du client. Un service de navette payante est possible vers l'aéroport. Le petit déjeuner est compris.
La chambre est fonctionnelle mais le petit bémol de notre séjour a été notre petit problème de fuite de douche et le manque de place pour poser nos affaires dans la salle de bain.
Il est possible de louer une voiture aussi.
Mention spéciale pour le chef ????????. Sa cuisine savoureuse et son souci du détail dans ses décorations sont digne d'un grand chef.

L’hôtel a un très bon rapport qualité prix.
Il est calme, possède un restaurant correct avec un chef audacieux qui semble avoir étudié la restauration gastronomique mais il y en a d’autres aux alentours accessibles a pieds.
Il y a 2 supérettes en face.
La location de voiture y est possible.
Le petit déjeuner est varié.
L’hotel est propre que ce soit les chambres, les espaces communs ou la piscine.
Il est dommage que les chambres familiales ne possèdent pas 2 télés. Il y a un petit frigo où vous pouvez conserver vos boissons.
Vous pouvez aussi vous faire masser sur place.

Quartier calme loin du tumulte des touristes du centre de Santa Maria. A vous de voir si vous préférez ou non ;) a 10 minutes à pieds de la plus jolie plage de l'ile. Chambres très propre avec petit frigo et climatisation qui fonctionne à merveille. Piscine agréable. Personnel au top!

Great hotel! Rooms are good and I've slept very well on the beds. Everything is very clean. Staff is very friendly. As it was our honeymoon, they made up our bed so cute! Really appreciated that! The hotel is very beautiful! Also not very busy and when you want to get some rest, this is the place to be! Breakfast was very good and a lot of options! Als dinner and lunch are available at the hotel for very good prices. Cocktails grom the bar are good and cheap.

Rent hotell med en bra frukost.
Försök att få rum 216 eller 200 då de är stora och vetter mot sydväst. Det tar 5 min att gå till närmaste stranden och till city.

Loved the fact that is locally owned and all staff is from Cape Verde. It looked just like the pictures, the facilities were spotless, beds are super comfortable (and I have a bad back), location is a 5/10 min walk to the main road and beach, there are supermarkets nearby, buses and taxis to take you to other locations. They book us a local excursion which took guests from other hotels incl. Hilton which took us to the main spots of the island. Cocktails were great and they have happy hour ????. Only fault was the food: we were on half board and only when we got there they told us that there was a different menu for half board which was super limited so we got bored very quickly especially when I don’t eat pork or seafood. Even the main menu wasn’t that big but at least it wouldn’t mean egg omelettes almost everyday. On another note, I rented a car from a local company and they gave us the oldest car ever, technically they didn’t scam us as it was the same car as in the pic but if you drove more that 30m:h it would shake tremendously. Exploring the island by yourself is amazing as you can stop wherever you want so I still think it was worth it but see the car before renting and get a newer one.

Excellent hotel. Couldn't find anything they could improve.
Rooms are spotless and attention to detail is obvious.
All employees are super attentive to anything you ask, and go the extra mile to keep you happy.
Breakfast buffet is also good and offers a variety of options.
100% recommended and for the price can't be better.

Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad bij da Luz. De kamers waren netjes goede bedden internet en gratis kluis op de kamer. Ontbijt is ook goed. En kamer werd elke dag opgeruimd. Dichtbij strand alleen moet je wat verder lopen om bedje te huren.

Pieni viihtyisä hotelli. Modernit huoneet. Siisteystaso huoneissa ja muutenkin hotellissa hyvä. Henkilökunta palveluhenkistä ja mukavaa. Allas ja allasalue on todella pieni. Aamupala ok, hieman erikoinen eurooppalaiseen makuun ja esim. tuoreita kasviksia olisi kaivannut. Kaikki Santa Mariassa on kävelyetäisyydellä. Jos etsit hotellia, jossa vietät päiväsi altaalla ja ruokailet hotellin ravintoloissa, tämä ei ole sinulle ja kannattaa valita joku monista Santa Marian all inclusive hotelleista. Jos sen sijaan etsit laadukasta yösijaa aamupalalla ja vietät päiväsi hotellin sijaan kaupungilla sekä rannoilla, niin tämä on erinomainen hotelli sinulle.

Loved everything about this hotel. The decoration is simple, yet nice and cosy. The rooms are good sized, well-equipped and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They accommodated all our needs. They can book a taxi for you to or from the airport. It's €15 during the day or €20 at night (this is the standard price, even if you get a taxi yourself). The pool is not very deep, perfect for kids. The hotel is located in a less touristy area at walking distance from the beach and the town centre and there are several restaurant options around, including in the hotel itself (we didn't try). I strongly recommend Bar di Nos for food, just a couple of minutes away. The breakfast was ok, but quality could be improved, it's the only "negative" thing I can say about this hotel. Overall it's good value for money.

Adoramos ficar hospedados 9 dias nesse hotel, quartos muito agradáveis, limpeza excelente, a simpatia excepcional dos funcionarios, fazem nos sentir em casa.
Muito acolhedor e perto do centro.

Wir waren vom 30.05.22 bis 06.06.22 dort und rundum zufrieden. Gute Lage, neu renovierte Zimmer, nettes Personal. So ein lokal geführtes Hotel ziehe ich jedem AI Bunker vor.

Wir waren vom 25.08 bis 01.09.22 nochmals im Hotel da Luz und können es uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.
Saubere, große, modern eingerichtete Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück und sehr nettes Personal.
