This hotel is located in an ideal location for birders. I spent 5 days there in the summer of 2023. I used this as my hub to bird the Northeast of Iceland. Rooms and service were good and the location was outstanding. Unfortunately, some Icelanders rented out all the inner rooms for two nights. They were loud and fairly obnoxious. I was walking to my room to the desk and some lady comes out and says "this is private". I said, that's nice and kept going. The hotel, if they gave me the heads up, I would not have stayed. I'm not going to smear the hotel in this review as that wouldn't be too fair. However, if the owners read this, I want you to know I was not very happy listening to Icelandic karaoke until 3 in morning.

Alojarnos en este hotel ha sido una maravilla, se nos ha quedado corto... la simpatía de Leonardo y Jose, la limpieza de las habitaciones, la comodidad de las camas y la paz, relax y tranquilidad que se respira en el ambiente, hacen que nuestra estancia haya superado nuestras expectativas. Totalmente recomendable. Mil gracias!!!!

Ruhiges Hotel mit guter Lage für viele Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht, die man auch beim Frühstück aus dem großen Panoramafenster genießen kann.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt!

Hotel blijkt overgenomen. Locatie is mooi. De faciliteiten zijn erg basic. Ontbijt heel erg basic. Bed en badkamer was ok.
