Lovely staff, great location off the beaten track. Try restaurant Veggur 8 minutes away for great burgers. Rooms are warm, bed comfy, breakfast is the usual basic continental, bathrooms compact. Bring your own shampoo etc as these are not supplied. It's these little things that lower the rating for me. (WiFi available)

Habitación limpia, tamaño correcto, ducha no salpicaba a pesar de que tenia cortinas sencillas, la calefacción bien, ojo alérgicos a los acaros que hay moqueta, aunque parecia muy limpia.
En las habitaciones no hay calienta agua para gacer té, pero en el gran comedor sí, ademas hay cafe y varios tipos de infusiones.
Desayuno, muy rico y había pancakes caseros ese día :) buenísimos!
El bar/restaurante estaba cerrado porque era temporada baja, principios de octubre, pero sirven cerveza y otras bebidas. Tienen una sala de estar con dos sofás y y puedes comprar algunos libros como guías Lonely.
El servicio en la recepción muy bueno, felicidades!

Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend! Die Zimmer sind kleiner aber haben alles was man braucht. Das Badezimmer ist mit einer Glastür Schiebetür vom Zimmer getrennt.
Das Frühstücksbuffet ist für den Aufpreis von 5€ p.P sehr vielseitig. Kaffee und Tee stehen jeder Zeit kostenlos zur Verfügung.

Friendly team, comfortable and clean rooms, and abundant breakfast. I only stayed one night and it was not enough. There are too many things to see in the North of Iceland, maybe you need to stay at least two nights in this hotel.

Albergo carino con camere non enormi ma pulite. Immerso nella natura. Ottimo il servizio. Buona la colazione. Eravamo in un gruppo e abbiamo cenato in albergo. La cena da migliorare. La zuppa era insipida e la carne di agnello un pò dura. Ma comunque consigliato.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer, mit Ausblick.Das Frühstück war leider das Schlechteste, auf unserer Tour. Ich hatte zum Abendessen Fisch mit Rissotto, welches lecker war, die Fischsuppe war nicht so gut. Trotzdem haben wir uns Wohlgefühlt.

This hotel is located in an ideal location for birders. I spent 5 days there in the summer of 2023. I used this as my hub to bird the Northeast of Iceland. Rooms and service were good and the location was outstanding. Unfortunately, some Icelanders rented out all the inner rooms for two nights. They were loud and fairly obnoxious. I was walking to my room to the desk and some lady comes out and says "this is private". I said, that's nice and kept going. The hotel, if they gave me the heads up, I would not have stayed. I'm not going to smear the hotel in this review as that wouldn't be too fair. However, if the owners read this, I want you to know I was not very happy listening to Icelandic karaoke until 3 in morning.

Alojarnos en este hotel ha sido una maravilla, se nos ha quedado corto... la simpatía de Leonardo y Jose, la limpieza de las habitaciones, la comodidad de las camas y la paz, relax y tranquilidad que se respira en el ambiente, hacen que nuestra estancia haya superado nuestras expectativas. Ruhiges Hotel mit guter Lage für viele Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht, die man auch beim Frühstück aus dem großen Panoramafenster genießen kann.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt!

As a restaurant, we got very bad service. Food did not arrive, arrived raw and the servers unexperienced. Too expensive for this experience. Tiramisu was great though.

We stayed for one night as a couple. The rooms are acceptable in size, clean and a modern nice bathroom. The mattress & bed is very comfortable. The service is helpful and friendly.
The restaurant has lots of areas of improvement. We had lamb carpaccio (too thick sliced, mussels were not fresh or tasteful (total disaster/failure). The restaurant food is overpriced, comparing with its taste and selection.
Reason is, that the next restaurant competition is 45min driving away. The location is very remote and the restaurant is only place around for dinner.
