Antipasto buono e ricco ma alcune porzioni davvero piccole (le polpette erano più o meno 2 cm di diametro)
E le vespe facevano davvero paura, ma di più il baygon spruzzato sui bicchieri di vino.
The moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and cared for by this cheerful family. Started with some apertivo outside, which was wonderful at sunset. Moved indoors where they guided us to the right menu choices and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Was a nice touch learning about the family and meeting the brother chefs in the kitchen. Sadly all this goodwill was ruined by the request for an “optional” tip. I live in Italy now and tipping is not the norm. I respect those who want to leave a tip ….. it is very generous, but in Italy it is not part of the culture. So to ask for it was a shameful shakedown and left me with a bad feeling for what was an otherwise nice evening that left me disappointed.
