American Bar is such a special place. Unfortunately I cannot comment on the rooms as I am not quite on that level yet. The American bar is just wonderful. After watching “The Savoy” television programme, I made it my wish to get to the American Bar for my 21st birthday. My mother made this happen and we enjoyed the most wonderful night in here after enjoying a musical at the Savoy Theatre. The cocktails we had were delicious, the small touches down to the Savoy napkins were truly exceptional and done to the highest quality. The facilities are beautiful within the hotel. Bathrooms are luxurious and classy. The painting of the late Queen in the lobby is truly beautiful. The icing on the cake was when the fantastic pianist played happy birthday to me in the American Bar. It was a simply sensational night. We returned to the American Bar at Christmas time later last year as well, and to say the decor was out of this world is an understatement. You have the definition of luxury down to a T and we can only say thank you for welcoming us to the Savoy. It is a very special place to us and I look forward to returning in future. Hopefully one time to stay and then I can comment on the rooms too. Thank you again.

We stayed for three nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience.

We were in the Maria Callas suite and it was absolutely beautiful, with amazing views of the river.

The breakfast in the birdcage restaurant was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.

It was actually lovely to interact with many of the staff who let their own personalities and humour show through.

I'd highly recommend this hotel for a special occasion or to spoil yourself on your next trip to London.

I adored every single detail.
