NOVOTEL LONDON CANARY WHARF ^{* * * *}

I honestly wouldn't recommend this hotel. As soon as we checked into our rooms, we heard extremely loud noise(like someone hitting against the windows every 5 mins/ creeking loud noise). When it came to sleep time, we obviously did not manage and went down to speak to reception. They(2 ladies at the reception) went on to explain that this is a known issue they have because of the wind and that it happens in this area and they have no control over it. I explained how we were here to celebrate my husband's 30th and if there is anything that can be done to switch our rooms to more a quiet floor (as we were fairly high up and the wind gets worse the higher we go) and they went on to say that "all rooms in our price category are sold out and moving us to another room would be an upgrade so not possible" (keep in mind this was 11pm and we were checking out 11am the next day, meaning these rooms would not have been used).
I then said ok, don't upgrade us then, can you please provide earplugs? They said no, we stopped stocking those 6 months ago. I was shocked as to how you are aware you have a huge problem with the noise and don't even think of a solution? They did offer us free drinks, which we declined as we explained we just wanted to go sleep.
On the next day when we were checking out the receptionist(a new lady) just said "hi drop your keys here, bye". No question of how our stay was or if we had any feedback.
I'm quiet shocked to be honest of how poorly managed this hotel is, and definitely won't be returning.
The pool also states that it's not monitored and asks people not to jump in/dive, but there were so many kids jumping in and splashing around every 5 minutes, bothering the adults, and their parents were fine with it.
I also stated in the booking that we were here to celebrate my husband's birthday, and they didn't bother to even leave a nice note in the bedroom, or provide anything considerate.
The bars& restaurants are great and I would return for food/drinks which I've left good reviews for, but definitely not for a stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay especially with the beautiful views and lovely pool. Thanks to all the staff who were very helpful. Room service was absolutely delicious.

Bom serviço, excelente pequeno almoço.
Boa vista quer do quarto (11° andar) quer da Sala de Pequeno almoço (38° andar).
Localização óptima para o pretendido ( junto do local de trabalho, mas não muito central para quem vai visitar Londres).

Un super séjour ici. Check in et Check out très efficace. Emplacement nickel. J’ai apprécié le fait que la salle de bain était très adaptée aux personnes handicapées avec des barres incrustées dans les murs notamment. J’ai aimé aussi les produits Karma :)

Zatrzymaliśmy się na kilka nocy w okresie Wielkanocy. Dostaliśmy pokój na 33 piętrze z mega widokiem. Hotel posiada basen i saunę niestety na szlafroki każą sobie płacić 15£ od osoby za pobyt co uważam za niestosowne dla hotelu o 4 gwiazdkach. Śniadania to full British breakfast bez urozmaiceń więc z braku wyboru jedliśmy w lokalnych restauracjach których jest tam dużo. Do stacji metra jest 5 minut ale można też skorzystać z wodnego środka transportu co jest akurat super. Ogólnie pobyt bardzo udany i chętnie tam wrócimy
