Another great stay at Mama. One of my favourite places to stay when visiting Lonodn. Well located, easily accessible from a number of Transport options and walking distance from Shoreditch centre. The staff here are always amazing, helpful and polite. Dinner here was delicious and the rooms had a great feel to them. The in-locayion games rooms, gym and laundry room are a big plus

Hôtel au top de la décoration avec une ambiance jeune et décontracté.
La cuisine y est raffiné et très abordable.
La chambre est des plus accessibles au niveau tarifs.
Je recommande cet établissement.

A hidden gem in Hackney. Good drinks, great vibe

L’hôtel se situe assez loin du centre. Prévoyez du temps et pas mal d’argent pour les transports. Uber, taxis etc… (environ 30/35£ de Huber ou taxi vers Westminster).
L’hôtel est beau, comme tous les Mama. La literie en revanche est très inconfortable. Extrêmement dure (de quelqu’un qui aime les literies fermes…). Pas de dressing ou placard. Les quelques cintres tombent au dessus de la petite table et bouilloire !
La salle d’eau est très petite.
Le personnel du restaurant est tout simplement incompétent. Service d’une lenteur ahurissante, serveurs qui se promènent sans jamais regarder leurs tables. Pareil au bar.
Expérience très mitigée. Je n’y retournerai pas.
A noter : je fréquente régulièrement les Mama Shelter, dans divers pays. Celui ci est TRÈS largement en dessous de tous ceux dans lesquels j’ai séjourné.

The room was a little hot when we arrived and the air con wasn't working but it turns out they have to activate it at reception (Just an FYI).
The room was clean and tidy, I don't think it needed such a large table in the room but that's just my personal opinion. Whoever designed the rooms have really thought about how it will be used during the stay which I admired. Large mirror and sockets next to mirrors and somewhere to hang clothes which a lot of hotels miss! Location was ok for north London! Service was good at the barf and with the reception staff. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was for the pin ball machine located in the arcade gaming area (random I know) but unfortunately it was broken. But apart from that a very good nice clean stay. I didnt love the soap for washing your hair so my advice is to bring your own. Very trendy cool place to spend a couple of nights though! And if you love a bit of karaoke you can rent karaoke rooms and play fuze ball in the bar. Real good fun, well done mama shelter!
