To be honest not helpful at all, the person on the phone was so rude and unhelpful when asked if he could find an alternative we were answered with “find a different place” ok I’m sorry to brake it to the venue - there at people out there that are willing to pay a premium for two people - you’ve lost some money there how very pretty woman of you.

Another ‘funky’ hotel that unfortunately doesn’t do the basics right and instead tries to make up with gimmicks. Not enough staff at breakfast so tables not cleared, had to do it ourself. Food not replaced in buffet quickly and music too loud , it’s breakfast! Room was small as expected but facing into an internal walled area, so no point paying extra for a window view! Bed was very hard as others have mentioned and noise from bar was on till 12 pm . Taking money for extras on card is a bit much when you pay in advance months ahead and I’m still waiting 3 days later for refund.

I popped in to grab a tea, I was seated by a member of staff but nobody came to take my order for ages - it wasn’t busy. I eventually asked the guy at the bar, near to where I was sat, who was talking to a colleague, whether I was supposed to make an order at the bar or if someone was going to come to take the order? - his response “well we’re talking now so I can take it”. No apology, or sorry for the wait, it was as if I was inconveniencing him and he was doing me a favour. Too cool for basic customer service, it doesn’t take much. I told him not to worry, and left.

Rooms are well appointed and comfortable, easy walk to restaurants, bars, bus stop and Overground. Fun and funky vibe, not a boring dud hotel. Would stay here again.
