Das Hotel Royal in Sanremo ist seit über einem Jahrzehnt unsere Wahl für einen unvergesslichen Familienurlaub. Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Meer bietet nicht nur eine atemberaubende Aussicht, sondern auch einen entspannten Start in den Tag mit einem köstlichen Frühstück, das jeden Morgen zu einem Highlight macht. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist vielfältig und wird durch den malerischen Blick auf das Meer noch verschönert. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und bieten alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Stadt Sanremo selbst ist ein Juwel an der italienischen Riviera, mit ihren charmanten Gassen, lebhaften Märkten und der berühmten Promenade. Wir genießen es, durch die Straßen zu schlendern und die mediterrane Atmosphäre zu erleben. Insgesamt ist das Hotel Royal in Sanremo ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um diese wundervolle Stadt zu erkunden und unvergessliche Familienmomente zu erleben.

We stay in the summer of 2022 for 5 days. We had an old room that definitely needed a renovation as you can hear everything, specially when people walk and make noise upstairs. This is not acceptable for a 5 -star hotel. We wanted to have a nice dinner experience but we had the worst. We arrived at 8:00 pm and ordered a starter soup which took 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to our table. This seemed like a frozen soup from a supermarket with no taste at all. By the time the soup arrived , they said we could not order the main dish as they were closing the kitchen. And the worst part was that we had 3 nights where we woke up with insect bite marks in our legs. Like some sort of bug. We complained about this but they said the rooms were cleaned and they didn’t know what was going on. Well, it seem that those were bed bugs because when we arrived home m, we had a terrible infestation that we had to treat for several months!! It is a shame that this legendary place lacks soul, kind hospitality and better management.
