4 jours merveilleux dans ce paradis privatisé.

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. It is unfortunately literally in the middle of nowhere (surrounded by empty desert) and they charge 2x the true price for any taxi. So plan ahead and book yourself if you need a taxi! Also, the rooms are in desperate need of maintenance and a good clean. Our room had broken glass in the doors and on cupboards, marks and grime on the walls. The main pool area and pool house are beautiful, as is the overall ambiance and garden. Unfortunately, the food is at best average and you should plan to eat in Marrakech. The service is friendly, but not very organised. On our last day we were told with literally 2 hours' notice that we had to not only check out of our rooms at 12pm (the normal time) but leave the premises entirely! They had privatised the hotel for a group who were offered early check-in. Too bad for us, we'd just have to sit in the desert outside the hotel so as to not disturb the new guests. No solution for where we could go before we had to go to the airport at 2pm. Had we known, we would have planned something reasonable to fill the gap. The uncaring response by the receptionist was appalling. But I guess that's what happens when you stay in a "luxe" place. A superior guest comes along and you are demoted to sitting in the parking lot!

En dépit d’un environnement plaisant (piscine, jardins), l’hôtel n’a pas les moyens de ses ambitions et peine à convaincre au regard de la médiocrité de ses prestations :
- Accueil des plus glacial très éloigné de l’hospitalité marocaine et personnel n’ayant pas été formé à l’hôtellerie ;
- Beaucoup trop éloigné du centre de Marrakech, à plus de 30 minutes de la médina sans bouchons ;
- Salles de bain vétustes ;
- Chambres très mal chauffées ;
- Piscine bondée par les « day pass » à partir de 12 heures ;
- Notes de bar qui ne correspondent pas aux consommations ;
- Réception injoignable ;
- Chambres très mal insonorisées, ce qui peut être problématique en cas de soirées tardives (jusqu’à 4h)…
En définitive, d’autres hôtels à Marrakech proposent de bien meilleures prestations pour des prix similaires !
