Save yourselves a bad moment and stay somewhere else. I only stayed for a single night, in a private room, and somebody broke into my room (door was locked) and stole my MacBook Pro, AirPods max, and about $300 in cash. This completely ruined my experience in Berlin, and in trying to save money I got into a USD $2500 loss… it is definitely the worst hostel that I have ever stayed in my life. What is more I had to deal with going to the police on the very first day of my trip so there I was at 2:30 am dealing with filing a police report during my “relaxing vacations”. After the incident I did not feel safe at all so next morning I packed everything that could be stolen out in a backpack and took it with me to the city because I did not feel like risking it anymore. The hostel simply washed their hands and nobody responded for my stolen belongings. What is more , I checked some reviews and this kind of incidents seemed to be common at this hostel, make sure you read them so you can inform your decision before staying at this very unsafe hostel. I am thinking there might be some cooperation with staff as you required key to access the floors and the building so how on earth this happened to me? If outsider did not supposed to have access to entering the building?
