The best thing about this hotel is the position. Easy walk to the Xmas markets, museum island, subway and tram at the door. Hire bikes are great and the hotel is newish inside. Service was terrible. Never acknowledged at reception after we checked in and you have to pass reception every time you leave or enter. The lift is the slowest in history. There is no room service which is fine, but when the housekeepers don’t replace the cups, or remove them and don’t replace them, you have to walk down to reception or the bar to get new ones. There is no one to bring them to the room. That’s poor service when it’s an issue with poor work by staff. Coffee capsules not replaced at service either. The rooms are very small, very small… we booked a queen and we had two singles pushed together, made separately, with the hotel having no topper to join them into a queen. This is very deceptive. The mattress has no protective covers and when we were trying to see if we could do anything with the single situation we discovered the mattress was heavy stained on one side… In summary, good location, new finish, bad service.

The hotel ( that what it was seemed to be ) was ok, and then the weekend came. Weird ppl was in the lobby, none of the staff payed any attention to the guest, room service was busy with the hassle downstairs. Don't stay in the hotel in the weekend!

Totally agreed with the other reviewers about the noise level.

The ground floor is a restaurant that turns into a party in the early evening and for both nights of our stay disturbed us until the early hours with heavy bass.

The hotel had put out a notice to apologise for the noise, but that doesn’t make it any less disturbing. Warning should be provided when booking.

Rooms themselves are perfectly nice, relatively well appointed, comfortable beds, good internet speed and water pressure. Staff were perfectly fine.

Suggest the lower floors are not used if the hotel would like to be a nightclub. You can be a quiet hotel or a party spot, not both.

Stayed here for one night for a business trip.

Lots of people have commented on the room sizes, and they are quite small. But I've stayed in smaller. The rooms are really well presented and stylish. Certainly different to other chain hotels which offer very little to differentiate themselves.

Staff were friendly and spoke good English. There is a bar on the ground floor too.

The restaurant served a good self-serve buffet breakfast.

It isn't a cheap place to stay, but it is certainly more interesting than most hotels and is well located.
