Check in … it’s a self check in/out, it takes a while to find the well hidden spot with personnel available for assistance.
WiFi … weakest signal ever (room 1438) no connection possible, and since even the TV operates via WiFi—also no entertainment available.
Bar … overcrowded while understaffed.
The only plus is the location of the hotel within Berlin.
Besides this, it’s an absolute „no thanks, never again“.

Not very cheap, but rooms were clean, all of the necessary things were available. The staff was nice, it was a little bit crowded (especially during breakfasts). Food during breakfasts was good, nothing to complain about. Minus - check-in self-service system, it seems a bit lazy. And most importantly - great location.

Disappointing...The hallway looks like 4 star hotel but the room is more like 2 star hotel. The 1) thing we didn't like : we entered, we saw these screens with self-check-in and a lady who helped us with clicking on correct buttons.... This is not a very human approach, especially when you arrive to a 4 star hotel. A traditional reception desk with friendly humans (not a bunch of screens) changes so much about the first impression when arriving to a hotel. 2) thing we didn't like : water constantly running out of the shower, making a ''lake'' on the carpeting, then ''the lake'' is getting dry for 3 days while creating mushroom smell in the air (the room was cleaned every day but the cleaning staff didn't do anything about it) 3) thermostat was broken and the temperature showed 23.5 degrees. we reported it the first night but nobody fixed it - luckily there was a balcony so we left the big window open the whole time. The positive thing about this hotel is the beautiful hallway and you expect the room to meet the same standards. Unfortunately our room didn't match standards of a 4 star hotel...

Welcoming, well decorated hotel.
Great service within the restaurant and bar, of particular note is Philip who has gone above and above & should be considered an asset to the corporation.
Would definitely stay again.
