Mein erster Aufenhalt im Provocateur und ich bin sehr enttäuscht.

Die Zimmer sind sehr abgewohnt und dreckig. Jegliche Messingbelege sind verkalkt und angelaufen, Staub und Dreck an allen Wände,… schade. Denn die Bar und das Restaurant sind toll.

We found the interior very sensual and inviting for lingering in dolce far niente. The extras - cremant, chocolate fruit, Time to Tease box and rose petals, as well as a very fine selection in the minibar - were very welcome. The bar is a magnet for beautiful people and we sampled some exquisite drinks there. And the staff were very obliging! Thank you very much for the exceptional treat!

As the staff are very accommodating, a queue can form at reception. The wait can be made pleasant with sweets. :-)

Staying at the Provocateur Hotel Berlin was an experience that encapsulated the essence of a romantic getaway, thanks to its beautifully designed rooms that seem to whisper tales of love and enchantment. The ambiance throughout the hotel is incredibly pleasant, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that complements its excellent location perfectly. Whether you're exploring the vibrant city of Berlin or enjoying a quiet evening in, this hotel serves as a wonderful retreat.

However, my overall satisfaction was somewhat marred by an unexpected issue related to the hotel's billing practices. Upon booking through booking.com, the listed price for the room only. Notably absent from the site's description was any mention of a required deposit. To my surprise, at check-in, I was charged much more than I expected, price included a deposit. While this was unexpected, I was assured upon checkout that the deposit would be refunded to the card used for payment.

The situation took a turn when the hotel's support team informed me that due to a technical malfunction, they were unable to process the refund of the deposit back to my payment card. They requested the details of my bank account, which I promptly provided, expecting a swift resolution. Unfortunately, the promised refund never materialized, and my attempts to follow up via email were met with silence. After submitting a new refund form as requested by the hotel, still, no refund was received. Seeking assistance, I turned to booking.com's support, only to find that my concerns were ignored there as well.

While the Provocateur Hotel Berlin boasts many attributes that make it a desirable choice for a romantic stay, potential guests should be aware of the possibility of encountering issues with undisclosed charges and challenges in receiving due refunds. This experience has highlighted the importance of clear communication and efficient customer service, which, in this case, were lacking.
