Stayed in July 2023 - 3 nights
Pro:
- Superb location at the Spree river, very close to the U & S-bahn Warschauer straße
- I had booked in May 2023 & stayed in July 2023, so early booking did help to get a room with water side views. Which is very nice!
- Ship-top deck terrass
- Good security: need to enter a code to get in and keeps the wandering people out.
Contra:
- If you want quite/silence: this is not the area. On a Wednesday night the opposite venue had very loud open air music until mid-night.
- This boat is proper, good clean but do not expect a luxury cruise boat I didn’t so no real comments here - just to manage your expectations
Pro:

Wir waren neugierig, auf einem Boot, ein Hotel? Ein Botel - klingt gut. War es auch! ????????
Zimmer sind einfach, Bad auch, halt eine Kajüte. Sauber!
Frühstück wurde keins angeboten. Kaffee und Tee konnte man früh/ vormittags genießen.
In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibts Frühstück in verschiedenen Bäckern/ Lokalitäten.????????
Wir wohnten in der unteren Etage, nahe dem Wasser, der Ausblick 5⭐️.
Die Angestellten freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Die Lage genial, an der alten innerdeutschen Mauer in Friedrichshain, paar Schritte aus dem Botel und man ist in Kreuzberg.
Ganz nah dran die Mercedes Benz Arena.
Nicht weit vom Standort gabs einige Bar/ Clubs, es geht durch die ????????.
Man muss damit rechnen, das es nicht ganz so ruhig zugeht.
Trotzdem weiter zu empfehlen!????????????????

The comedy nights hosted at their bar are a lot fun, but often their bar isn't open or is booked for a private function where guests of the hostel are not welcome. One night they had a private party and played loud music until 2AM and unfortunately my dorm was right beside the bar. The person at front desk was only able to offer earplugs, which wasn't enough block out the loud music or people yelling beside the dorm's door.
I would maybe avoid this place on the weekend unless you're ok with the party hostel vibe and with not being invited to the party.
If you plan ahead, there are cheaper hostels in the area.
