The apartment itself was quite spacious, featuring a large living room, a well-equipped kitchen with basic amenities, and a bathroom. The room I stayed in was on the third floor, and while there wasn't a lift, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. I also appreciated the prompt response when I requested an iron.
However, the property did have its drawbacks. The most significant issue was the heating system, which didn't seem to function effectively, leaving the rooms quite cold. This might be something for the hostel to improve upon, especially during colder months.
Despite the negative comments I had seen online, my personal experience was largely positive. The hostel offers great value for money, given its location and the size of the accommodations. It's a solid choice for those looking for a centrally located place to stay in Berlin without breaking the bank.
