20250522 - Great traditional Alsace French food. We had the Foie Gras de Canard "maison", Baeckeoffe aux trois viandes, Cuisse de canard confite, au miel et à l'orange (spätzle), and Nougat Glacé for dessert.

Un super moment passé dans ce resto ! La cuisine est tout simplement fantastique, et le service en salle d’une grande gentillesse. J’ai adoré l’ambiance et les belles rencontres faites ce soir-là. Je reviendrai sans hésiter !

Nous sommes allés dîner en famille (9 personnes) au Cruchon, pour fêter l’anniversaire de notre papa. Le cadre est charmant, intimiste, on a envie de s’y sentir comme chez soi. La carte est alléchante et l’exécution parfaite, fidèle aux traditions alsaciennes - nous nous sommes tous copieusement régalés. Mais quel dommage que la gérante n’ait pas été aussi accueillante et chaleureuse que le laissent supposer le cadre et les plats ! Nous avons eu l’impression de déranger, faisant pourtant attention d’être curieux et aimables envers notre hôte. Peut être sommes nous tombés un mauvais jour, mais je suis déçue que cette ambiance un peu pesante ait tempéré notre enthousiasme.

Exceptionnel ! Petit winstub familial au coeur d'une ruelle discrète, à l'abri de la foule. La cuisine était succulente (jarret de porc au munster pour ma part). Le service est très sympathique même si la patronne se montre parfois un peu autoritaire (le côté alsacien je suppose ????) mais c'est pour la bonne cause. Le cadre est chaleureux. Vraiment une excellente expérience que j'aimerais renouveler si j'habitais sur place !

My spouse and I stopped in on a week night while visiting for the day. This appears to be owner run and it appears there were two people running the whole restaurant. The food, the wine, and the service: there is clearly a lot of love that goes into all aspects of this place. The restaurant and the owner were absolutely charming. My only regret is that we had to leave.

J’ai passé un très bon moment dans ce restaurant atypique et chaleureux ! Les plats sont très copieux et c’est un régal. Le service était impeccable. Je ne regrette pas d’avoir poussé la porte de ce restaurant et j’y retournerai !

Tout était top, l’ambiance était vraiment superbe et même chose pour la nourriture. La serveuse était très sympathique, elle nous a raconté en quelques mots l’histoire des winstub alsaciens. La petite salle se prête parfaitement aux rencontres (Justine, si tu nous vois, merci pour ta compagnie!)

Beautiful french cuisine and ambience. You feel a bit like Asterix and Obelix with the food. Its a very cosy small restaurant with typical local french cuisine.

Das hat wirklich Spaß gemacht. Und zwar von Anfang bis zum Schluss.
Großartige foi gras, top Baeckeoffe, hervorragende Nachspeise, ein sensationelles Halbgefrorenes... ein Traum.
Die Chefin bezaubernde Gastgeberin, die ihr Fach versteht und lebt. Das Ambiente ist gleichfalls Erlebnis und dennoch gemütlich... Merci beaucoup für einen nicht nur in kulinarischer Hinsicht feinen Abend!

Très bonne cuisine, rien à dire par rapport à cela. Par contre, la serveuse se permet des remarques totalement déplacées à tendance arabophobe (surtout au moment où je lui fais un compliment sur le fait qu’elle soit polyglotte). Climat pesant, ultra désagréable, d’où la note globale qui reflète bien le moment passé. Je donne systématiquement un pourboire, ce soir là, je n’ai pas voulu en donner. Je ne recommande pas, cela reflète bien la société actuellement vous me direz.

Very homey. Very friendly, very enough, and very delicious. Had the pork knuckle with Munster and sauerkraut and the three meats with potatoes. The women serving was very helpful and accommodating.

Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Service! Das Essen wahr ebenso eine 10/10. Der Dessert war äusserst kreativ. Das Ambiente ist sehr heimelig und einladend!

Excellente choucroute, service impeccable, jarret de porc avec munster sur lit de pomme de terre: Une tuerie! Attention c’est copieux! Le dessert : framboise marinées au kirsh, glace vanille et chantilly, vraiment excellent !

Terrible service, the woman was so rude with a teenager in my table just for being in the phone (translating the menu). She was also rude with everyone, including my mom, who just asked a question. We ended up leaving after they told us everyone had to buy a plate (although two members of my group weren't hungry).

Edit: As a tourist, you want to experience the most out of the cities you visit. That's why when arriving, some of us bought crepes a noticeable pastry from France. At lunchtime, not all were hungry, but still we planned to expend, either in wines or pastries, to pass the time after the main dishes the mayority planned to purchase. The teen wasn't actually hungry but wanted to translate to Spanish the menu for the rest of the members. The waitress wanted the teenager, who had already a menu to pass it to the person next to him. When he didn't notice, however, at the first try, she screamed at him. After that, my mother, who is Latin-American, asked what happened since she didn't understand. The waitress sort of ignored her until finally she answered in a really rude way. It came to the point where her actions ruined the appetite. We didn't intend to enter the restaurant just to use the bathroom or the heating. When we started ordering, just one of us got to say they didn't want to eat, ordering just a lemonade, so it is not that the mayority didn't want to. The waitress told us in an aggressive tone that all of us had to have a main dish, or none of us could.

Endroit agréable, belle décoration. Des l entrée dans le restaurant une dame souriante et agréable nous accueille puis nous installe. Les entrée ainsi que les plats sont excellent et bien servi.Ma visite au sein de votre établissement fût une réussite.
