巴约（Bayeux）的罗马式和哥特式圣母大教堂（Notre-Dame Cathedral），在导游的带领下可以参观教堂的议事厅。
圣母教堂是法国最独特的罗马和哥特式建筑之一。1077年，奥东（征服者的牧师和副兄弟）在纪尧姆-勒-征服者的见证下创建了这座教堂，二十年后，在反对诺曼底公爵之子的战争中，教堂部分被毁。此外，奥东还指挥巴约的塔皮塞里（Tapisserie de Bayeux）建造了这座教堂。这座教堂持续了七个世纪。在十一世纪的罗马教堂中，存在着两座现存的教堂以及由天使音乐家装饰的地下室。
从十二世纪开始，重建的教堂具有罗马风格，主要体现在教堂前部的大拱廊和拱顶装饰上（十二世纪），然后是教堂、中轴礼拜堂、壁画礼拜堂和礼拜厅的哥特式风格（十三世纪至十五世纪）。十九世纪时才开始修建中央的朱红色大厅。
