Ich hatte eine "Bird Watching" Tour online für drei Personen (2h) reserviert und bezahlt. Obwohl mir online die Verfügbarkeit der Tour bestädigt wurde, erhielt ich kurz nach der Bezahlung einen Anruf, dass die Tour nicht durchführbar sei und ob ich nicht eine andere vergleichbare Tour machen möchte, die eine Stunde eher startet. Ich willigte schlussendlich zu. Nur leider war die Tour nicht vergleichbar. Sie führte lediglich auf zwei Inseln, die regelmäßig auch von den Fähren angefahren werden. Wenn man das gebucht hätte, würde die Tour eine ganz gute Bwertung bekommen, auch wenn für mich der Sinn dieser Tour nicht klar ist, da es nix anderes als eine private Fährfahrt ist (+ ein paar Kommentare). Für mich, der eigentlich eine naturnahe Fahrt durch den Ria Formosa erwartet hat, was es ziemlich enttäuchend!

Nous avons pris le tours de 3h sur les deux iles ilha de faro et ilha deserta, Nôtre guide jesse a su rendre le tour agréable et intéressant avec deux arrets tres différents l'un sur l'ile de faro et son tres joli village pittoresque l'autre sur l'île deserte plus naturelle où nous avons pu observer la faune les pieds dans l'eau lors de la marée descendente.

Très bonne excursion des 2 îles avec coucher du soleil avec JC. Très bon guide ! Nous recommandons. Baignade à Farol et coucher du soleil à l’île déserta.. prolongé dans le bateau. Top !

We had a lovely trip with Paolo on the bird watching tour! He is very knowledgeable about the area, very friendly and great to speak with! The tour was excellent as we saw a variety of birds, even some of the resident flamingos, and learned about the area! Highly recommend ????
Went on the birding tour. Overall I thought it was super fun! As a birdwatcher it was nice to explore a region you could only access on boat. I could appreciate our guide saying he wasn't an expert on birds at the start of the tour (the expert was on holidays). Even though he wasn't an expert he was super informative on the area and gave cool facts about the land and other animals on the area too. Our guide was very helpful, considerate, and made sure everyone on the boat was seeing everything.
I logged 28 species of birds on this trip. Not everything was called out by our guide but he took us right up close to all the birds and I was able to get good looks and photos of everything. The binoculars they provided were good quality and you were able to see everything clearly. I brought my own pair but my wife used the supplied ones and had no issues. The boat was spacious and everyone had lots of room to move around and spot all the birds.
If you're an avid birdwatcher be prepared to spot and call out most of the birds yourself but if you just want to go on a birding tour for fun you'll see flamingos, spoonbills, egrets, herons, oystercatchers and much more.
Overall a great experience for a fair price and if I'm ever back in Portugal I would go again!
