Bin nur zum Golfen im Resort unterwegs, habe mir für €1.450,- eine 3 Monatsmitgliedschaft gegönnt. Nicht billig aber ich war der Meinung die Plätze geben es her. Wäre alles gut wenn man ein gleichberechtigtes Mitglied wäre! Aber zuerst kommen die Greenfeespieler und Hotelgäste dann die Hausbesitzer und zu guter letzt was noch über bleibt darf man dann 15Tage im Voraus buchen. Schlicht und ergreifend ein Witz, einmal und nie wieder! Da sollte es sich ein jeder überlegen bei diesen über buchten Plätze überhaupt anzureisen. Spielzeiten von bis zu 5,5 Stunden sind keine Seltenheit .

Great Service, great accommodation (apartments) and great Golf. The Faldo is a real challenge and the O’Conner is nice challenge that is more playable for higher handicap players.

Didn't stay course good condition front of house service good mainly good elsewhere not 5 star at the moment
In my opinion we had a wonderful Valentine’s dinner at the clubhouse restaurant tonight. The food was elegantly presented and served with attentive care by the waitstaff.
1) The Salmon Tartare, a personal favorite of mine, was exquisite, perfectly complemented by the avocado. On a scale of 0-10, I would give it a 9.
2) The Filet of Beef with Gorgonzola was cooked to perfection, retaining its juiciness while allowing the Gorgonzola flavor to enhance rather than overpower. I would rate it an 8 on a scale of 0-10.
3) The Pannacotta with berries, clearly made in-house, had the unique quality of not imparting an artificial mouthfeel, as can sometimes occur with such desserts.
4) The wines from the Douro Valley were both excellent choices. The red had a light palate with fruity notes, transitioning smoothly to a rich, dense flavor profile of mature dark fruit with a subtle herbal finish. The white wine offered crisp, mineral characteristics with minimal fruity flavors, high acidity, and a hint of salinity. The sparkling wine was decent but not particularly remarkable. While the entertainment lacked vivacity and engagement, the music was fitting for the occasion. Overall, it was well worth the price paid.
