VILLA LE BLANC GRAN MELIÁ

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Villa le blanc chambre 276.
Tout est parfait décoration service accueil et gentillesse du personnel.
Mention spéciale pour le restaurant japonais CRU un vrai régal.
Le petit déjeuner est fabuleux avec un grand choix de produits frais.
Un petit coucou à Roberta de la part de stella-Rose ????
Nous reviendrons sans hésiter dans cet hôtel hors du temps….

Un lugar único y relajante

We've had the most relaxing break at Villa le Blanc, one of the nicest places we've stayed. The hotel is obviously new and they've done a beautiful job with the decor and atmosphere, it's gorgeous. One of the highlights for us was the rooftop pool (adult only), with panoramic sea views and drinks service...we stayed a whole day there, just relaxing and enjoying the view.

Rooms are tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed ( best sleep I've had in a long time). We got upgraded to a room with a sea view terrace, perfect for sunset drinks. Loved the huge bathtub too. The room was spotlessly clean and the daily cleaning staff did an amazing job making us feel at home.

We also tried the spa and massage services, provided by native Thai ladies, very relaxing. We had the spa to ourselves.

Breakfast was fantastic with a large selection of savory and sweet options, local products, vegan/gluten free options etc. Served on the Nivi terrace overlooking the sea, it was the perfect way to start your day.

Location was great, just a few steps from the beautiful Santo Tomas beach and in between Ciutadella and Mao (car is required if you want to discover the island.) We also took advantage of the Audi Experience for the day and my husband had so much fun driving the Etron on the little country roads.

Staff was so welcoming and friendly, always ready to help with any questions we had. I appreciate that we visited in October, with the hotel being much quieter than normal, I imagine the summer months might look very different.

My only suggestions would be :
- maybe provide a SUP/kayak rental service ( I would have happily paid to do this every morning)
- Different juice options at breakfast
- Drinks and minibar are a tad pricey
- If like me you need a completely blacked out room, the curtains let a lot of light through so I woke very early

We loved our stay and will definitely be back in the future

En absoluto es un hotel cinco estrellas gran lujo. Tienen un mal servicio. Sobre todo en los restaurantes. Tuvimos que levantarnos y marcharnos porque estuvimos más de 15 minutos esperando en la mesa a que nos preguntasen si queríamos algo de beber. Y cuando fuimos a hacer el check out nos imputaron una comida de 143 euros. Dijimos que nosotros no habíamos hecho esa consumición. Y que a la hora que parecía se había hecho, estábamos en otro lugar de la isla (y lo demostramos). Nos quitaron el importe de la cuenta pero, al llegar a casa, de madrugada, vimos que nos habían hecho en cobro de esa cantidad. Tuvimos que llamar y mostrar nuestra sorpresa y enfado para que finalmente nos devolvieran el dinero. Nunca nos enseñaron el documento firmado por nosotros. Porque era imposible. Nosotros no hicimos esa consumición. Y nos hicieron sentir como unos caraduras que no querían pagar lo consumido. Pagamos lo que habíamos consumido (una comida y una cena). No podíamos pagar lo que algún listo nos había imputado. Siempre he pensado que esto podía pasar alguna vez, que alguien de tu número de habitación cuando le preguntan para hacer el cargo. Pero precisamente, se firma para evitar fraudes. Digo yo…Todavía estoy esperando una disculpa.
Como digo, el servicio es poco profesional en general. El hotel no tiene la categoría que publicita. Ni por asomo. La limpieza tampoco es de un hotel cinco estrellas gran lujo. Y el hotel, aunque muy buen ubicado, tiene una decoración impersonal y está muy cerca de otro que está muy viejo. Y muchas de las habitaciones dan a ese otro hotel. Y las vistas son deprimentes.
Nosotros viajamos mucho y sabemos distinguir lo que de verdad es el lujo. Y esto ni siquiera se me acerca. Es un hotel con unas bonitas vistas (en una parte). Pero poco más. Hasta el zumo de naranja es “de bote”. ¿Como puede ser esto en un hotel de esta categoría?
Hay muchas mejores opciones en la isla. Y que si son de verdadero lujo. Donde los detalles se cuidad. Ese es el verdadero lujo.
