Excellent, high class hotel near a thermal spring in Furnas; the rooms are tasteful, well-stocked (with regular housekeeping), and the pool is heated by the thermal springs. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast each day in the hotel restaurant. Furnas is a little out of the way on the island, but not unreasonably so. The town is charming. There is ample parking in front of the hotel. We loved this hotel and plan to come back; however, we probably will only come in shoulder or low season.

Fui jantar com o meu marido e gostamos muito. Desde o atendimento dos funcionários, o restaurante é lindíssimo, a comida um esplendor de sabores, um requinte simples e harmonioso. A repetir.

Love this hotel - great service, friendly staff, amazing pool with really cool water features. The hotel gets the big things right and there's a bunch of small details (evening snacks, fun stuff for the kids, games area) that pushes it over the top.
