We really enjoyed staying here. The view from our room was the best and the sunrise was beautiful!

My husband and I stayed at Harbor House for 2 nights. The location is wonderful for viewing the Verrazano Bridge and Hudson River and New York skyline. Moe the proprietor is friendly, kind, and aims to please his guests. The price is very reasonable. The bed was comfortable, the room was plain but clean and more than adequate. Staten Island is a great place to stay if you're touring Manhattan. It's a 15 minute ferry ride (free!) across the Hudson. I got my best view of the Statue of Liberty ever! Unless you're persnickety about staying in a place that is posche and modern, you'll enjoy Harbor House.

A lovely place to stay with beautiful views. A hidden gem on the island. Staff pleasant and accommodating. Very quiet and peaceful.

Although I did not get to stay for breakfast, I had a great one night stay here. The caretaker was incredibly kind and upgraded my room free of charge upon arrival. Although there is only street parking, there was ample availability. The room itself was very clean and had a stunning view of the harbor and city. I slept with the windows open and got to listen to the waves crash against the shore all night! For the price, location, and customer service, I would absolutely stay again.
