Booked a 8-hour day room, as I needed a place to take a couple of client calls then get some sleep before my flight. It was a big mistake choosing the NU Hotel. After the first hour, I heard drilling and construction -- it was so loud my client asked me what was happening on the call, it was embarrassing. The noise got louder, and room started to shake so I called reception they told me it is because the hotel is above a car park -- there was no offer to relocate or any solution. I then tried to rest -- but wow, couldn't get even a few minutes of sleep as the noise and vibrations were constant and sudden, I felt anxious just being in the room -- what a horrible experience. Really was so disappointed in this hotel, shocking such rooms are acceptable.
