Terrible/dirty hotel. I was supposed to receive a full refund due to multiple issues including some nasty gunk that was on my “clean towels” that got all over my body when using them. I think it was a previous stays eyelash glue, so gross. I guess they don’t clean their towels properly. Probably not their bed sheets either. There was literally crusty old bloody boogers on the wall of the bathroom in plain sight and mold everywhere.
The supposed manager, Stephanie, was supposed to ensure she called the 3rd party I booked through to process my refund. However, instead of doing that they have avoided responding to the 3rd party since my stay on June 3rd. Never again

THIS PLACE IS CLOSED! We had a room booked for a layover, and when we arrived an employee informed us that the whole building was sold last week and they are now closed.
There was no email, call or notification to inform or warn us of this. And according to the employee we should receive a refund at some point...

My initial intro was not very warm and welcoming. The representative got straight to business asking me my name, and kept looking for my name and saying I can’t find your reservation which gave me a mini heart attack bc I traveled from far to come here. A hello, welcome, how are you ? would have felt more comforting. I had asked twice, on separate occasions for new towels, and they came late both times. Both times I didn’t press for them to be there right away, I left and did some sightseeing to come back that evening and still they weren’t there, called and had to recall. Little things, like small toiletries and maybe a pad and pen that you find in basic hotels where I’m from make a room feel welcoming. And coffee, shouldn’t be only for airline hostesses, not for the price per night. La Quinta does better.

OK for an overnight layover at JFK, bar was good though.
York from Toronto as part of our honeymoon. Problem checking in which was solved in the evening. Then while my husband and I are sleeping we are woken up by someone trying to come into the room! Called down to the front desk and the manager tells me that it was security and that we were not even registered! Husband went down to the front desk and was told that we were not registered to the room and that it was the another person registered to the room and again we were not registered to the room. Horribly unnerving and terrifying to have someone trying to come into the room when my husband and I are exhausted from a long trip prior to a cruise. Front desk did nothing but say that it wouldn't happen again. It shouldn't have happened the first time! Will seriously think twice before staying here again! Very unerving having someone get into our room and could not sleep the rest of the stay due to fear of being broken into again do to very poor hotel customer service
