This hotel is by far the best for a date night, party and casual drinks. It has the ambience that you want for an intimate event and being able to stay in the hotel but walk downstairs to an amazing bar and access to some of the friendliest staff in NYC is priceless.

Old Manhattan! This was a nice hotel, well-preserved with modern amenities. I did not particularly like the menu offerings in The Temple Bar and other F&B areas, but they were executed well. Upon arrival, my key did not work in the elevator or room, so it was up to me to get it fixed. Called the reception Desk for assistance, no answer. My advice to them is: Do it right the 1st time or at least answer the phone when you make a mistake. Good neighborhood, nice property, a fine bar, and comfortable rooms.

This was my first stay at the Beekman. It is fine, but just fine. No way it's a five-star hotel. Four-star is slight grade inflation. The hotel has fine bones. The interior is tired and needs a refresh.

Perfection! From the staff to the room to the ambiance—5 stars all around! Perks galore and three restaurants right downstairs to boot! Definitely coming back.

They also treated my fur baby so well.
