Enjoyed our stay at the Sofitel New York Hotel. Amazing location to 5th Avenue and Times Square. Beautiful hotel room Luxury 1-Queen bed high floor and layout. Amazing staff assisting with requests and directions. Room Servcie was very quick and easy to access.

We are regulars, which is our eighth time we stayed over SOFITEL, twice (06/2007, 11/2010) as Nominee in the 35th & 38TH EMMY AWARD ), and at 06/2010, 04/2015, 12/2017, 12/2019, and now.
Due an International Flight we always book an extra night, to reach our Suite early in the morning. For the same reason, we always pay an extra cost to have a late check out (until 17:00 PM) and be prepared to catch a night flight at JFK.
Made this introduction, I want to divide with you what follows:
Giulia on March 23rd asked for a late check out on March 28th, and the front desk representative denied right the way, he does not consider we are regulars’ clients.
Same day at night, with a different front desk representative, Giulia was better treated, Sofitel charged LATE CHECK OUT, and my Family was able to keep the room until 17:00PM. Unfortunately, the Suite 2615, in not sound proof, has an awful noise from the elevator.

Terrible hotel. The negative feedback is always the same and the cut and paste response from the manager reflects the effort going into the upkeep of this hotel.
