Interesting museum with a lot of information about Martinique's history and people. Includes prehistoric artefacts, displays of local life. The receptionist gave us a booklet with English translation, because everything was in French. Adult's ticket was 4 eur. Clean toilets.

Quel bel endroit! Niché au bord de l'anse figuier, on ne s'attend pas à découvrir un espace culturel aussi riche. Le personnel est accueillant, chaleureux et prévenant! Le déroulé est limpide et passionnant. J'ai appris et redécouvert des pans de notre histoire. Mention spéciale à la partie consacrée à Joseph Zobel. A faire et à refaire sans hésitation!

Bel accueil.
A visiter près de l'anse figuier
Lieu rempli de richesse concernant le passé, l'histoire du pays. A voir à l'étage l'espace dédié à la rue case nègre.

Nice little museum explaining the history of Martinique and the surrounding islands. Well put together and created.

It took us about an hour and a half, taking it easy on a very rainy day,

Everything is in French, but they were kind enough to lend a book in English that explained the displays, and with Google Translate we got most everything.
