J’ai eu le plaisir de séjourner à l’Hôtel Avenue Lodge à Val d’Isère, et l’expérience a été absolument remarquable. L’emplacement est idéal, en plein cœur de la station, à quelques pas des pistes et des boutiques. Le style chic et contemporain mêlé à l’esprit montagnard crée une atmosphère cosy et raffinée.

La chambre était spacieuse, très bien insonorisée, avec une literie ultra confortable et une belle vue sur les montagnes. Mention spéciale pour le spa avec piscine, sauna et hammam : parfait pour se détendre après une journée sur les pistes !

Le personnel est aux petits soins, attentif, souriant et toujours disponible pour rendre le séjour fluide et agréable. Le petit-déjeuner buffet est varié, gourmand, avec des produits de qualité.

Une adresse que je recommande les yeux fermés pour une escapade à Val d’Isère mêlant luxe, confort et authenticité.

L’hôtel est bien situé. La réservation a été faite en dernière minute. L’accueil est chaleureux, le voiturier est au top !! Le personnel est agréable, tant au bar, au petit-déjeuner et à la réception. L’établissement est à taille humaine, ce n’est pas l’usine.|Les chambres sont sobres et d’une superficie convenable. Malheureusement, le ménage est perfectible dans les chambres.|Des parfums d’ambiance sont utilisés dans les parties communes, parfois pour masquer les mauvaises odeurs.|Le petit-déjeuner est correct, mais il aurait été appréciable de trouver davantage de produits locaux et faits maison, quitte à avoir un buffet moins fourni.|Notez que le restaurant est fermé le mardi soir.

This hotel is very convenient and central to all the places you would want to go. Ski slopes are a short walk from the hotel. The staff was excellent, very attentive and helped make reservations for dinner every night. I forgot my wallet in a restaurant, they were very kind to send it back to the hotel and hold it at the concierge. Our room had a strange smell, the hotel upgraded us to a attached apartment for the rest of our stay.||The pool and spa is very nice.

Très déçue de mon soin du visage. 165€ que je ne trouve pas justifié. J’ai eu l’impression que ce soin était simplement une succession d’application de produits, sans massage, sans quasiment aucun geste ni pression…
Elle m’a appliqué un peeling qui m’a piqué la peau sans que je sois prévenue en amont…
Elle est partie une quinzaine de minutes sans prévenir en laissant poser un masque..
Je n’ai vraiment pas l’habitude de laisser un avis négatif mais la déception est à la hauteur du prix payé.

En revanche, ma soeur qui a également effectué un soin du visage a été absolument ravie de la prestation de son esthéticienne qui avait, pour sa part, des doigts de fée. Elle en est ressortie reposée et avec un teint radieux.
Le personnel était également très sympathique.

I’m well travelled and have worked for several large, international hotel chains and never have I experienced service this good! From reception to the restaurant, bar, housekeeping, concierge and the spa, the staff are all exceptional and we really cannot fault our stay at the Hotel Avenue Lodge. Special mention to Nicholas on reception, Ioan and Manu in the bar and all the staff at breakfast who were delightful and extremely attentive during our stay. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the village and close to everything; chair lifts and the gondola, supermarket, pharmacy, bars and restaurants. The free bus service for Val and Tignes stops right at the front of the hotel. The room set up was perfect for our family of four with a large bedroom for the adults and a smaller twin room next door for our teenagers. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The spa area with two jacuzzis, two saunas, a large pool and steam room we enjoyed every day! The breakfast offering has everything you could want inc. cereals, fruit, cheeses, salmon, pastries, yoghurt, pancakes, coffee, juice and eggs made to order. The bar area is cosy and the perfect spot for a drink over lunch or after skiing. Highly recommended. Thank you team Hotel Avenue Lodge for a wonderful stay!

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable à l'Hôtel Avenue Lodge. La conciergerie a été d'une aide précieuse, et nous tenons à remercier tout particulièrement Bruno pour son professionnalisme et sa gentillesse. Toute l'équipe est exceptionnelle, toujours souriante, réactive et prête à rendre votre expérience inoubliable. Nous recommandons cet hôtel les yeux fermés et espérons y revenir très bientôt !

From arrival to departure we had really great and friendly service from all the staff in the hotel. ||Check in was straight forward but as we arrived early our room was not quite ready, but within half an hour it was and the staff let us know immediately. ||Our room was a standard room with a balcony, it was clean and finished to a high standard. The room was a good size, excellent wardrobe facilities with a safe and a good sized bathroom with a shower over the bath. There is a coffee machine in the bedroom. ||We weren’t disturbed by any noise from within the hotel or from outside. ||The cleaners were excellent and they also did a turn down service in the evening. The hotel was kept very clean by the cleaners all through the day. ||We were staying half board. The breakfast buffet was good with cereals, pastries, cheese , ham etc as well as scrambled eggs and bacon. Some people asked for fried eggs and they were happy to provide them. Breakfast is a little hectic as there isn’t much room round the breakfast bar, but staff kept everything topped up, cleared tables quickly and were great at finding seats for people . ||The evening meal was a choice of starters, mains and deserts from the a la carte menu. Although the main menu didn’t change, there were always specials to choose from which changed each day. The food was plentiful and absolutely gorgeous. The staff in the restaurant are great. They are attentive and friendly and can’t do enough for you. My wife eats mainly vegetarian and some fish. If there was nothing on the menu she would eat they would always have something else prepared for her that she would eat. ||The spa facilities are really nice and are open from about 10am to 8pm. The pool is nice though not huge and there are jacuzzis, steam room and sauna. We found it was never over busy, but we did tend to go around 3.30pm. ||There is a small ski shop in the basement of the hotel where we picked up our skis. There are individual ski racks for your room and space for each room on the heated boot racks to dry your boots overnight. Our boots were always dry by the morning. ||The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk to the ski lifts in val d’Isère and as it is on the main road is very convenient for the shuttle buses.||Overall this is an excellent hotel and we would definitely stay again if we return to Val D’Isere.

Good and friendly service. Rooms are large, in good condition and acoustic insulation is good. recently renovated.

An excellent hotel ideally located in Val d'Isère with really friendly and helpful staff and an excellent restaurant.

The night porter, Gabriel, was very kind to me when I visited for three days. I would say he is a real credit to the hotel.

Quel bonheur de terminer un long séjour à Val d’Isère par une après-midi au SPA de l’avenue Lodge ! Massage de plus d’une heure incroyable, adapté à mes besoins, un grand merci à Marine pour son expertise et son savoir-faire. Vrai moment de détente dans le hammam et le sauna , vivement l’hiver prochain !

Dans cette dictature de l’avis négatif et Faisant parti de ceux qui aiment dire quand c est bien et pas seulement raler quand on est pas content je laisse ce 5 étoiles. J’ai eu rendez vous pour un massage au spa de l’hôtel en tant que client extérieur. Le spa est spacieux avec deux saunas, un hamam un jacuzzi et une belle piscine.
L’accueil était très bien et j’ai fais un massage californien absolument dingue! La déconnexion totale, la pression parfaite, le temps s’est arrêté , j’y retournerai l’hiver prochain c’était génial!

Idéalement situé au cœur de la station et à proximité des pistes, cet établissement propose un hébergement de qualité, aux chambres bien aménagées. Le restaurant est excellent notamment le petit déjeuner avec un buffet très complet.|Tout le personnel de l’établissement est attentionné et professionnel ce qui est rare.|L’équipe de ménage des chambres est au top. Poli, souriant prévenant.|Un bémol toutefois mais nous l’avions déjà identifié lors de notre précédent séjour : le skiroom n’est vraiment pas pratique. Il faut descendre pour récupérer ses chaussures de skis, remonter pour prendre ses skis, le ski service est ouvert sur le spa ce qui n’est pas très compatible en termes d’ambiance.|Le Spa est qualitatif, avec une équipe compétente.

What a fantastic hotel, small, incredibly well equipped, clean, friendly and a great position being in the heart of Val. |With a fabulous Spa, it was utterly perfect for my daughter and I on our annual ski trip. |The breakfast was delicious and the lounge very comfortable for an evening drink. |We will definitely be staying again!

This place was really great. The food was great, but the actual restaurant itself was stunning to look at.

Only visited the bar, it looks great, but just doesn't have the vibe of others close by. Great photo of schilthorn in foyer.

Chambre impeccable et spa à découvrir

We’ve been coming to Val d’Isère for the past couple of years and this year we decided to try a new restaurant. We were very disappointed with la Taverne d’Alsace. The food we received was served cold and flavourless. And then the service… we were “looked after” by a rude and slow waiter who frankly gave the impression they’d rather be anywhere other than serving our table. Save your time and money and visit somewhere else.

C’est très simple : Je n’ai jamais mangé une choucroute aussi bonne de toute ma vie.
En prime l’accueil est impeccable. Patron et serveurs d’une grande gentillesse et bienveillance. Ravie de cette découverte sur cette semaine de déplacement !

A chaque échapade a Val D Isere nous allons à ma taverne d alsace manger une super choucroute. Le super compromis entre mon mari et moi lui il prend la royale moi celle au jambonnout. Equilibre parfait ainsi de choucroute et bonne cochonaille! Et le service super sympa. Je vous conseille de reserver toujours bien plein à craquer cette petite taverne

Excellent food, very poor service from a waitress who didn’t respond well to being asked for something. The overall ambience was good and the table for a large group very comfortable. The service was a disappointment.

Outstanding experience. The waiter was so kind to the kids playing puzzles and making them order in French in the kindest possible way, whilst serving up top end food.

Acceuil tres chaleureux et sans pretention dans cet etablissement en sous-sol (pas de vue sur la rue donc). Nourriture tres correcte, avec un bemol sur les pates au pesto et burrata > trop cuites et sans saveur (mais bon, ce n est pas un reso italien !). Pour le reste, carte tres sympa et prix raisonnable pour la station. Ideal en famille.
