WARWICK REINE ASTRID ^{* * * *}

We stayed a month at the Warwick Reine Astrid. It was very convenient and comfortable for us. Our one month was delightful, with all of the friendly and interesting staff to look after us. It was all arranged in advance by Sana Chaibi, Reservation & Yield Department, in the most professional and hospitable way.||We had a 90 square meter (968 square feet) 2-bedroom and 2-bath apartment in the 6ème arrondissement, a very classy neighborhood (costing 360€ per day plus parking). It was on the top floor, looking down on the garden in the back of the hotel (not on the Parc de la Tête d’Or). It was very quiet--we rarely heard any noise, except when roadwork was being done. We could see the Basilique Notre Dame de Fourvière in the distance, and, also in the distance, we could see the building we called The Unicorn, the Incity Tour in Part Dieu. ||We had excellent weekly maid service by Esther and as many extra towels as we needed. The head of housekeeping, Adeline, provided us with the extra equipment we requested (as well as restaurant recommendations).||The hotel provided us with a very good breakfast buffet, as well as items cooked to order. Hayare and Florence took very good care of us at breakfast. Although we had a kitchen, Audre didn't cook in it--there were too many wonderful restaurants and traiteurs in the neighborhood that we could walk to. The garage at the hotel for our new Kia Sportage SUV was safe and secure. ||There was a sufficiently good gym at the Reine Astrid, and we were very close to the Parc de la Tête d’Or. We walked in the park, went to the gym, and also used the VeloV city bikes to get exercise.||We actually stayed at the Reine Astrid in 1999 and 2000 when we came to Lyon from Courchevel. From our point of view, we thought that the General Manager, M. To, was doing a great job. His staff seemed happy to be working there and they were attentive and responsive to the guests needs. Plus, they were wonderful to us; we enjoyed talking to them and getting to know them.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux.|La chambre était parfaite, le service impeccable.|Si un jour vous passez par Lyon, ne cherchez pas ailleurs : cet hôtel est une véritable pépite, qui vous enveloppe de douceur et de charme.|Je le recommande les yeux fermés — à 100 %… et même bien plus !

Un vrai moment de plaisir au déjeuner !
Nous avons déjeuné à trois dans le restaurant de l’hôtel Warwick Reine Astrid à Lyon, et tout était parfait. Le cadre est élégant, lumineux et apaisant, avec une décoration raffinée et soignée qui rend l’expérience très agréable.
Le personnel a été aux petits soins tout au long du repas.
Côté assiette, la qualité était au rendez-vous.

Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
