We truly loved our stay at this hotel — the overall experience was wonderful, and the setting is absolutely magical, especially the beach, which we found to be one of the highlights of our trip.
That said, there are a few points that kept us from giving a higher rating:
• bike rental flexibility : Renting bikes is a fantastic option in this area and a great idea for guests. However, we found it quite inflexible that rentals were only offered by the hour, with no option for a 30-minute rate — especially when the hotel wasn’t at full capacity. We simply wanted a short, romantic ride, and an hour felt a bit much, particularly at the full-hour rate.
• « beach food » : While we loved spending time at the beach, the food options available there could really be improved. We were surprised to see no light or classic snack choices (like a club sandwich, for example), which are typically offered at other similar settings. A more thoughtful beachside snack menu would enhance the experience greatly.
• Room size and breakfast: Our room for our short two-night stay, was quite small and located under the roof, which might not be ideal for longer stays. As for breakfast i think its the part I usually look forward to most, but I thought it was extremely basic for the level of this hotel
Despite these few drawbacks, everything else was great. The ambiance, the charm of the property, and the overall feel of the hotel made it a memorable stay. With just a bit more attention to detail, this could be an exceptional five-star experience

Hôtel magnifique au bord du lac. En revanche, le service est très variable, rien de grave mais je ne l’ai pas trouvé à la hauteur du niveau d exigence d’un palace.

Bel emplacement. Service d’une médiocrité confondante. Très loin de la qualité d’autres hôtels de même classement dans le monde. Chambres petites de niveau 3 étoiles. Nourriture et restauration normales à moyennes.

Cela fait maintenant trois ans que nous venons chaque année au palace de Menton. L’emplacement est tout simplement idyllique avec sa plage privée et donc son accès permanent au lac.
La vue est à couper le souffle et on s’en émerveille chaque matin en sortant de l’hôtel
Le personnel est tout petits soins, les chambres sont grandes et le restaurant est très bonne qualité.
Des vacances de rêve !

C est un Établissement que je ne recommande pas du tout en raison de manque d’empathie de La Direction et de son personnel. Au delà de chambres clinquantes, aucun savoir être.
Profit est le leitmotiv!
Ils ont fait aucun geste à nos enfants qui ont économisé pour s offrir un week-end dans leur établissement et qui n ont malheureusement pas pu s y rendre pour cause de décès dans la famille.
Ils se sont entendus dire « ce n est pas un cas de force majeure »
Pour un établissement de 5 étoiles, c est quoi un cas de force majeure? Un hélicoptère de l’a jet set qui ne peut pas se poser?
Suggestion de formation pour l équipe : bienveillance et savoir être.

Ne réservez jamais dans cet hôtel !!
Nous avions réservé une chambre depuis des mois dans l’établissement, suite à un décès survenue brutalement la veille de notre arrivée, nous avons dû annuler notre séjour. Nous appelons immédiatement l’établissement pour prévenir et demander que nous ne soyons pas débité. On nous dit que c’est pas possible et on nous débite quand même ! Une honte !!! Après plusieurs mails et échanges téléphoniques ( documents de décès à l’appui) toujours aucun geste de fait : ils essaient même pas de trouver une solution !!
Un conseil : n’y allez pas !!
La concurrence est bien meilleure et l personnel des autres établissements sont plus professionnels

Absolutely loved everything about our stay. The views and location are amazing, the breakfast has an excellent selection in a stunning setting, and just relaxing by the lake with the option for drinks, food and swimming in beautiful grounds was lovely. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Only minor thing we would feedback is that it would be great if the beach bar could be open a bit longer to allow for a sundowner to be had with the beautiful views and setting.

Une expérience à la hauteur de l’établissement, l’emplacement est juste magnifique et époustouflant…
Le service du personnel est attentionné et très professionnel, ils font attention aux moindres détails.
La chambre est spacieuse et bien agencée,
Des petites attentions pour la bienvenue sont appréciables,
Le dîner au restaurant de l’hôtel fut une expérience extraordinaire de part la vue, les plats , les saveurs … vraiment rien a redire.
Le petit déjeuner avec un buffet varié est de qualité également.
Enfin nous avons pu expérimenter le tour du lac en vélo électrique proposé par l’établissement ( tarif de location un peu élevé mais les vélos sont super et l’assistance électrique bien nécessaire).
Je recommande cette établissement, et me ferais un plaisir de revenir séjourner à nouveau !

Magnificent setting over looking Lake Annecy, grand Palace architecture , friendly and helpful staff, especially valet with lake swimming and biking, gourmet sunset dinner on the terrace. Perfect view of the historic Chateau / Castle de Menthon in the hills. We’ll be back.

Value for money wise, this may be one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Views were incredible, rooms and hotel are beautiful and the staff do a wonderful job. They clearly love what they do and it shows.

Super weekend dans un endroit sublime! Calme, vue magnifique, service proposé au top. Et tout était à dosposition pour mon petit de 3 mois. Un lit à barreaux nous a été proposé durant notre séjour.
Nous avons également profité d'un moment détente avec un soin du corps plus que parfait et un espace bien être piscine/hammam ainsi que des balades à faire autour.
Nous reviendrons certainement!

Je suis profondément déçu et frustré par le manque d'attention et de coopération envers les clients. Non seulement notre enregistrement a été tardif, mais nous avons également été déplacés d'une chambre à une autre en raison d'un événement spécial, montrant clairement que l'organisation de l'événement était prioritaire par rapport au service aux clients. De plus, les instructions concernant l'accès à la porte et les procédures d'entrée n'étaient pas claires pour tous les clients. Malgré cela, je tiens à exprimer ma gratitude envers Mme Bénédicte pour ses efforts et sa tentative de coopération avec nous.

Mon épouse et moi-même avons passé un très bon moment au Palace de Menthon. Le personnel est accueillant, sympathique et très professionnel. Le restaurant gastronomique offre de très bons mets, et si les quantités ne sont pas énormes on en sort néanmoins rassasié. Les cocktails sont originaux et procurent de véritables découvertes. L'espace piscine est impeccable. Notre chambre offrait une magnifique vue sur le lac et était très propre. Ce fut un séjour très appréciable !

Le matin même, nous avons demandé à la réception un contact pour organiser notre retour en taxi. Ils nous ont orientés vers une compagnie à qui nous avons envoyé un message. Un dénommé Arthur, nous à répondu au bout de 5 heures, ce qui a créé un certain stress chez ma compagne.
À 23h30 (l’heure convenue, aucun soucis sur ce point), une voiture avec un chauffeur en sweat à capuche est arrivée. La voiture n’était pas très propre, la conduite assez brusque, et il était impossible de payer par carte : nous avons dû installer une application pour faire un virement au chauffeur !
Nous avons signalé tout cela à l’hôtel par téléphone le lendemain matin. C’est dommage de terminer une si belle soirée sur une note aussi décevante.
