Beautiful location, but the blueberry waffel was cold and disappointing. Definitely not worth the 7.5 Euros

Easily the least favorite refuge we came across on our trek. Staff seemed like a parody of the rude French waiter. No amenities to use. Every other refuge had water, outlets and welcomed you if you were staying or just passing through. This one is the opposite of that. Keep going to le balme for a much better experience

As high mountain refuges go, it's one of the best.
