L'hotel est très agréable, très propre et moderne. Cela fait plaisir d'y aller et j'y retournerai. J'ai enlevé une étoile car sur les 2 fois où j'y suis allé, la chambre n'était pas prête à 14h00, mais à 15h00. Je pense qu'il y a là un axe d'amélioration.

Plusieurs séjours sur Marseille et une première fois dans cet Ibis. Ce ne sera pas la dernière.

We stayed for one night. Barely slept. First room, the entire floor smelled of dead fish when we came off elevator. Think the smell was coming from the garbage disposal area right by the elevators. The garbages were full. When we arrived in our room we stepped in a huge puddle of water in the bathroom. Water was covering almost the entire floor. Could see that it looked to be coming from underneath the sink and going towards the shower, which was right near the door. Went downstairs to talk to reception and they changed our room. We then went to the new room in a different floor. Noticed right away that the room was stuffy and humid. I tried adjusting the AC but nothing worked. The room was uncomfortably humid and warm. Also killed 5 mosquitoes in the first 10 minutes of being in the room. Not happy! Went back to reception. Asked about AC and mosquitoes. Was told to adjust AC and was assured that it worked and that it takes time. Not so, it never got cool. Was also told that they do have a mosquito problem “because of the closeness to the water”, and I was given a mosquito plug-in that is supposed to detour them. However, when going to my room I read that it is not safe to breathe in for long periods of time and could cause respiratory problems. In the meantime, killed 3 more mosquitoes. Plugged in two of our own fans to try to get sleep and keep the mosquitoes off of us. We only got 2 towels for a shower in the bathroom. No hand towels and no wash cloths. They provide body wash, but no wash cloths? Breakfast was fair. Scrambled eggs were soupy and mushy. Not a lot of choice. Hotel overall seemed dark and dreary, dirty and smelly in the hallways and rooms, but bright and socially comfortable in the reception and breakfast/lounge area. The night reception desk person did his best to accommodate us, but to be honest it was not an issue with him, it looked like it is a hotel management issue. I would not stay here again. I normally do not leave many reviews, but do read others, and I take some with a grain of salt, but felt it was important to post. We expect more from Ibis / All Accor, especially for the price.
