Well, the room had loose tile, no USB and filthy carpet. But honestly the biggest indignity was the 80 euro cab ride to the airport that they "ordered" for us. I checked uber (too late to do anything about it) and it was 27 euros... so either they're in cahoots with the local cab company or they just don't care. For the money the hotel isn't horrible, but this feels so dishonest that I'd personally never stay here again just on principle.

A great hotel. Excellent location and rooms with a balcony have a super view over Vieux Port.
Breakfast is excellent, with a wide and plentiful choice of food.
What really distinguishes it, however, is that it is not part of a formulaic chain, and has a sense of individuality. The ambience is truly welcoming and the staff are wonderful - very charming and friendly whilst also being consummate professionals.

Despite a nightmare of traffic between us and the hotel when we got there, it was a very nice experience in a very unique hotel with an awesome balcony view of the port. You will trip over a wonderful restaurant or Cafe in any direction you choose to walk in.
