This hotel surprised us as we booked very last minute. It was very reasonable for a balcony room overlooking the old port.
It isn’t the most beautiful hotel in the area but we spent most of the time exploring so it didn’t matter. We were looking out rather than looking at it.
The staff were very friendly and is family owned. We found our room to be clean, a little dated perhaps.
Superb location and view. Didn’t eat in the hotel but had great pancakes in the cafe next door.

Étant venu passer p'tit séjour à Marseille, je cherchais un endroit accessible en fauteuil roulant ♿ pour pouvoir me restaurer convenablement, et je tombe sur ce magnifique restaurant de l'hôtel résidence. Je suis tombé sur les 2 serveuses en Or : Clara et Eleona, quel Duo de choc ! Déjà pour commencer, mon fauteuil roulant ♿ n'a pas été un frein, elles m'ont installé à une table où je peux me '' stationner '' aisément (comme un véhicule ????), tout en me proposant assistance (je salue cette délicate qu'on eu, Clara & Eleona à mon égard ????). Puis, étant indécis face à ce vaste menu proposé, elles ont su m'aiguiller au max afin de faire kiffer mes papilles degustatives, franchement mission accomplie, une tuerie : entrée ''Maakouda'' (incroyable découverte), plats Dorade et lotte accompagnées de légumes frais & croquant (un peu de légumes afin d'avoir bonne conscience avant de déboiter le dessert ????). Mais en attendant le repas, nos 2 duos de chocs Clara et Eleona ont su calmer notre faim de loup par de délicieux amuse-bouches. Tout au long du repas on ne manquait de rien : couverts souvents renouvelés en fonction du repas (super original j'adore), l'eau souvent remplie (donc on avait toujours à boire)....etc et cela avec sourire, bonne humeur et gentillesse ; ce que demande le peuple ????
Et enfin les desserts '' Tout chocolat '' (merci Clara pour ce conseil avisé) et la pêche rôtie, une frappe atomique ces 2 desserts (j'ai les pneus de fauteuil ♿à plat tellement j'ai mangé ????)

Mais aussi, au chef cuistot et sa femme pour ces repas bien travaillé (design, original , produits frais Bio et AOP), et d'être venus à notre table pour s'assurer que c'était bon (oui c'était délicieux bravo)

I really wanted to like this hotel, and I actually booked it after looking through several reviews. However, I must say that my experience was very sub par. The staff is great - they are very nice and accommodating. The room, however, is not. there is no view, the floors are slanted, and shower head was broken. There is 0 sound barrier between the room and the outside area, so it’s very very loud through the whole night. Super unfortunate because it made it difficult to sleep. Furthermore, there was no adapters that the front desk could lend us to charge our phones. For the price I paid, I just expected more. I would not recommend staying here.

Loved everything about this place! The location was great, the views were amazing, the rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was especially delicious. The staff here were absolutely lovely and incredibly accommodating - from our late arrival and very early morning departure to daily housekeeping to creating our morning breakfast tray, we felt very well cared for. One of my favorite places I have stayed, ever!

The hotel feels tired and dated, and the decor is confusing—almost as if several design ideas were tested but none fully committed to. The rooms are quite small, and our balcony door didn’t close properly, which made soundproofing virtually nonexistent. This became especially problematic at night with all the street noise and a nearby festival that went late.

Service at the front desk was underwhelming. Most staff seemed bothered by basic questions, with the exception of one older gentleman at checkout who was courteous and helpful.

The one standout is the location—right on the Vieux-Port, within walking distance of excellent dining and the charming Le Panier district. Unfortunately, that alone doesn’t make up for the other shortcomings. All in all it was a disappointing Stay – Only the location delivered

Great location and great views from the balcony. Be aware that there is a handheld shower in the bathtub, which is not convenient and awkward if you are older. Love the location. Balcony is totally worth it.

City Tax.||Das Hotel besticht für mich mit seiner wunderbaren Lage (nur ein paar Schritte zur U-Bahn-, ein paar Schritte zur Fähre oder auch wie bei mir zu der Bootsanlegestelle, von wo mein gebuchter abendlicher Segeltörn startete).||Ferner war das Hotelpersonal überaus hilfsbereit, freundlich, englischsprachig und vermittelte einem wirklich das Gefühl, dass man sich wohl und wie zu Hause auf Zeit fühlen sollte. Vielen lieben Dank an das gesamte Team für die Gastfreundschaft.||Das Frühstücksbuffet war mit vielen Leckereien und Produkten in exzellenter, hochwertiger Qualität bestückt...wirklich eine Freude für den Gaumen und die Sinne. Das ganze konnte ich auf dem begehbaren und mit Sitzmöbeln ausgestatteten Frühstücksbalkon, der sich am Frühstücksraum angliederte, draussen mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf den Hafen und sein Treiben geniessen...Lebensfreude und Momente des Glücks pur.||Das Hotel und auch das Zimmer war wunderbar klimatisiert. ||Das Zimmer an sich ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht (inklusive einem Sonnenhut), der Blick war fantastisch und das Bett war sehr bequem. Die farbliche Gestaltung ist persönlich nicht so meins, aber das ist selbstverständlich individuelle Geschmackssache, welche man vorher wusste und was nicht negativ zu bewerten ist. ||Was ein bisschen schade war: Die schlechte Schallisolation. Hier wäre es wünschenswert, dass wenn mal wieder Geld in die Modernisierung gesteckt werden kann, neue Fenster mit Doppelverglasung und Schallisolation eingebaut werden. Denn so war es doch leider sehr hellhörig und laut. Und auch eine liebevollere Gestaltung des Balkons mit neuen, einladenden Sitzmöbeln und ggf. Pflanze(n) wäre schön, denn so wirkte leider alles recht schäbig und lieblos und lud nicht wirklichen Zeit auf dem Balkon zu verbringen.||Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Kurzaufenthalt bei dem ich mich sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt habe. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft!

Bellissimo hotel. Stanza molto particolare. Caratteristici i diversi colori delle diverse stanze. Letto molto comodo. Forse il bagno un po’ piccolo (lavabo minuscolo) e un po’ datato. Ma complessivamente ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Gentilissimo il Concierge. Ha provveduto a soddisfare delle mie esigenze molto particolari. Minibar super fornito. Consigliato!

Tout est parfait, de la vue exceptionnelle sur la Bonne Mère au confort douillet, en passant par l'amabilité et l'efficacité du personnel.

L'hôtel n'y peut pas grand chose mais la proximité des restaurants juste à proximité des fenêtres n'est pas terrible . La 1ere nuit j'ai dû mettre des bouchons dans les oreilles . Et toutes les chambres donnent sur la rue donc pas de chambre à l'arrière .||Points positifs |-accueil correct |-chambre propre|-room service petit déjeuner ponctuel|-hôtel calme à l'intérieur ||Un séjour qui s'est passé sans rien de fabuleux . J'ai évité le pire avec les bruits extérieurs car les 2 jours suivants c'était plus calme sinon ca aurait été pénible de refaire une nuit comme la première avec la musique des restaurants à fond. |Pour cette seule raison je n'y retournerai pas .

Hotel is in a great location overlooking the port. It is also literally next door to the train stop which made this very convenient for us! We just stayed the night en route to Nice, but it was a good choice for convenience. Hotel was friendly and helpful.

Un séjour presque parfait ! J’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel et j’ai été séduit par son emplacement idéal offrant une vue imprenable sur le vieux port et Notre-Dame de la Garde.
La suite était très spacieuse, avec une grande salle de bain équipée d’une baignoire, d’une douche et de WC séparés. De plus, l’atmosphère était agréable et propice à la détente.
Le personnel a été extrêmement attentionné, toujours aux petits soins, ce qui a rendu mon séjour encore plus agréable.
Seul petit bémol : le ménage aurait mérité plus de rigueur, surtout compte tenu du tarif de 340€ la nuit. À ce prix-là, on s’attend à une propreté irréprochable et un entretien en profondeur.
Cela reste néanmoins une belle adresse, avec un cadre exceptionnel et un service de qualité !

A perfect place to stay. The room was comfortable with a lovely patio overlooking the vieux port. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The restaurant associated with the hotel offered a wonderful menu. We stayed here prior to going on a cruise.

Positive: View and art Negative: A small continental breakfast could be included, given the price and 4 stars.

Tolles Hotel mit fantastischer Aussicht und tollem Restaurant (Le Relais 50). Preis/Leistung stimmt, sauberes Zimmer, freundlicher Empfang, gutes Frühstück.

Due to an upcoming train strike in France, we were forced to change our plans and request a cancellation and refund. We made the request FOUR days in advance. The hotel, of course, is willing to cancel the reservation but NOT issue a refund - citing their policies. It is unfortunate and gravely disappointing to observe such lack of understanding and consideration, and poor customer care. The Globe et Cecil Hotel in Lyon was very kind to understand our situation and issue a refund. We booked our stay with Expedia who on our behalf also requested a cancellation with refund. Even then, the hotel refused to issue a refund. Of course, I could easily understand their decision if I were requesting a cancellation within less than 24 hours. I have been traveling for decades. I never ever encountered a situation such as this one. Travelers: be aware.

PARFAIT RARE

Absolutely loved the Design of the rooms and thoughtful details. The location with its views is superb for sightseeing and it was a blessing that we were able to park our car conveniently at the public garage around the corner. All staff was extraordinarily helpful, contributing to our pleasant stay. Thank you.

기차역에서 지하철2정거장. 에스컬레이터 있음. 항구근처라 안전하고 어디든 이동이 편함. 직원분들이 엄청 친절함. 전망 진짜 멋있음. 칫솔치약빼고 어메니티 다 있고 슬리퍼와 가운도 있음. 물도 한병 줌. 온수 잘 나오고 난방도 빵빵함. 유일한 단점: 드라이기가 약함.

Best location! Rooms are a bit outdated but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.
