That chicken - beautiful.
An unforgettable dining experience in the heart of Aix-en-Provence.
This small, intimate restaurant completely exceeded our expectations. The seasonal menu is thoughtful and beautifully executed every dish felt like a work of art. We were welcomed with a complimentary trio of pre-appetizers: a refreshing melon soup, beetroot hummus, and a cabbage tartare, all packed with flavor and creativity.
For starters, the duck tartar with smoked celery and apple mousseline was rich and silky, while the salmon ceviche with citrus and coconut milk was fresh and vibrant.
The mains were just as impressive a perfectly cooked low-temperature sea bass with zucchini and sage, and a creamy mushroom risotto topped with hazelnuts that was pure comfort.
Desserts were a highlight: a deconstructed lemon tart and strawberries from Provence with diplomat cream light, sweet, and full of local flavor.
The attention to detail, cozy ambiance, and inventive cuisine make this a must-visit if you’re in Aix. One of the best meals we’ve had in France hands down.
