Très bon restaurant, excellent rapport qualité prix. A la fin de chaque plat nous attendions avec impatience le suivant pour découvrir de nouvelles saveurs. Le parton explique les plats. Je recommande vivement et finissez votre repas par la tarte au citron bien sur revisite par leurs soins, elle est excellente.

Dinner tonight was a treat in every way: food was absolutely delicious, refined and perfectly balanced. The service prompt, competent and personal at the same time. Add to this the surprise of finding this gem in the most random way, while growing increasingly anxious that we will stay hungry for the evening. Delicious, we will come back!

Tous les plats sont raffinés, de niveau gastronomique, préparé avec créativité et finesse. Tout était excellent et joliment présenté. Ate there June 2025. Was some of the best food we ate in both France and Switzerland (and those were often very, very expensive restaurants.). My wife is vegetarian. And we both had exceptional meals. Learned that the owners are a husband and wife, and an ex chef with very discerning tastes. We ordered a lemon dessert and she wouldn’t bring it out as it wasn’t up to their standards because of the heat (and instead gave us other desserts and a free one which were exceptional). It is not pretentious. Would highly recommend.

An unforgettable dining experience in the heart of Aix-en-Provence.

This small, intimate restaurant completely exceeded our expectations. The seasonal menu is thoughtful and beautifully executed every dish felt like a work of art. We were welcomed with a complimentary trio of pre-appetizers: a refreshing melon soup, beetroot hummus, and a cabbage tartare, all packed with flavor and creativity.

For starters, the duck tartar with smoked celery and apple mousseline was rich and silky, while the salmon ceviche with citrus and coconut milk was fresh and vibrant.

The mains were just as impressive a perfectly cooked low-temperature sea bass with zucchini and sage, and a creamy mushroom risotto topped with hazelnuts that was pure comfort.

Desserts were a highlight: a deconstructed lemon tart and strawberries from Provence with diplomat cream light, sweet, and full of local flavor.

The attention to detail, cozy ambiance, and inventive cuisine make this a must-visit if you’re in Aix. One of the best meals we’ve had in France hands down.

Make sure to call to get a reservation as walk ins are very limited

Simply the BEST MEAL AND SERVICE!

Wir hatten einen ganz tollen Abend bei Mitch! Es wurde sich toll um uns gekümmert und das Essen ist wirklich 1A. Preis-Leistung mehr als Fair :) wir haben sogar ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen und das Essen kam recht schnell. Es ist eine tolle Mischung aus Exklusivität und gelassener Bodenständigkeit ❤️

Great dinner. Service was wonderful. We did the three courses and our server took the time to tell us about each dish. Great recommendation for a local wine to go with the food. My husband and I got different dishes and shared and our favourites were duck tartare for the entree, the chicken and fish were both amazing for the main and the lemon tart was heavenly for the dessert. Definitely recommend this as a place to go for couples or small groups.

Great restaurant in the heart of old town Aix, food was excellent and service was great, sitting outside on the street adds to the friendly and informal atmosphere. Not cheap but good value if you want to have an authentic Provençal experience. Highly recommended

La cuisine de ce restaurant est superbe, une belle présentation des plats, des saveurs remarquable, le personnel est très agréable et très professionnel, sans oublier le patron qui est tout simplement remarquable. Tasteless food. Few options on the menu. Not worth the price. I do not recommend it.

I'm not complaining about vegan menu, We ate an expensive fish, a tiny portion of a completely bland and tasteless fish.

Quel plaisir de voir des artisans aimer leur métier.
Tout était parfait du service jusqu’aux plats. On s’est régalés. Les conseils sur le vin sont tout aussi bons. Une adresse à ne pas oublier. N’hésitez surtout pas si vous êtes de passage sur Aix en Provence. Merci encore et à bientôt

If i could I would have given 10 stars)) it was really super dinner: the food was delicious, the textures were soft, light, the taste - amazing! I have never eaten such tasty and delicate beef - it was melting in the mouth. You definitely have to taste the masterpieces from the Chef!

Vraiment super. Nous sommes arrivés avec plus d’une heure de retard suite à une crevaison sur la route. Nous avons été très bien reçus. Menu excellent et vin plus qu’à la hauteur. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
