I booked one night at this place via Hotels.com, and when we arrived, the owner told us they no longer accept reservations from the platform and that I had to cancel and pay directly. She claimed she couldn’t decline bookings because Hotels.com wouldn't terminate their contract — which is NOT the customer's problem.
I had a non-refundable reservation, paid in multiple installments, and had to go through the stress of calling the platform myself to get a refund. Thankfully, my partner had family in Nice, or we would’ve been stranded and forced to pay a fortune for a last-minute place.
The property was also in poor condition — not well maintained — and the owner was neither welcoming nor helpful. After we decided not to pay directly and canceled the stay, she acted upset, even though she was the one refusing our original booking.
Totally unprofessional. Avoid this place unless you want your travel plans ruined.

To make things worse, we found bedbugs in our room, which was extremely unpleasant. Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet the quality and standards we expected.
