HÔTEL BELLE PLAGE ^{* * * *}

The hotel doesn't offer anything near a 5 star experience. It's a nice design, and a different vibe than many of the other hotels nearby, but the construction and accents are cheap. The rooms are incredibly noisy with street noise because of the low quality windows / construction, and the bedding/pillows were terrible materials. I was woken up multiple times throughout the nights, and it was not the place for wellness and rest I was promised

The staff was nice overall, and the rooftop is great for a drink or bite.

It is not a 5-star hotel experience, and it's not worth what they charge. I would absolutely not stay in the hotel again, but I would visit the rooftop for a sunset drink again next time I'm in cannes

I was visiting Cannes on a cruise and left my phone behind in an uber. I wasn’t staying in this hotel but the sweet ladies at the desk (Liza and I think Roxy) were so sweet and helpful. They let me use their phone to figure this out. I am so thankful for them!

Nous sommes venue dîner avec des clients, nous avons adorer l’ambiance, le service et les plats. Vue magnifique, le personnel très accueillant. Merci beaucoup ☺️

*UPDATE*
The lovely Vera from guest relations reached out to me upon hearing my feedback and very kindly invited us back to stay and to give Hotel belle plage another try. Everyone at the hotel went above and beyond to make our anniversary stay extra special. Again a huge shout out to the front of house team, the porters and valets, sorry I can only remember Romain, but they were all so fantastic, and helpful. Vera had made all our restaurant reservations and a lovely girl on reception managed to get us into a lovely beach club last minute when everything was full! We can't wait to come back again!

Honestly just so disappointed. We stayed at 4 different hotels on our trip to the french riviera, and although this was the most expensive, it was by far the worst.
Pros
Looks pretty (style over substance though)
Receptionists were lovely (however double check your bill at the end, we had 3 random items added that we did not order to our room)
Cons
The worst thing by far was the service. Oh my. I've never witnessed anything like it, after making friends with a few other guests at the hotel, it seems it's a problem across the board. The restaurant on the rooftop, where we had paid €36pp breakfast, per night to eat, and on top spent €300 having dinner, was lovely to look at, BUT the service is the worst I've ever experienced in my life. The waitresses are so rude, roll there eyes when you ask for something, take forever to serve you, look completely pissed off to be there, and on top don't bring you what you've asked for until you've asked 3 times and waited an hour.

Day 1- arrive, go for dinner at the rooftop, no one takes us to a table, no staff to be soon, we wait, and wait, finally we walk towards a table, and we're acknowledged by a nod. After 20 minutes, we are asked if we want still or sparkling water, we ordered still, guess what, this never arrived, even after we reminded them, but guess what again, it was on our bill at the end. We then tried to order a bottle of wine, we thought we wouldn't risk trying to ask for glasses with the current wait times- bare in mind there was 3 tables seated, the restaurant was empty, and they stood around talking between themselves. 45 minutes later our wine arrived, on top this was the only restaurant during our whole France stay, where we had to keep refilling our own glasses.

Day 2- we attend for breakfast,We sat and waited to be served for 40 minutes, staff walked by and nothing. Eventually we realise it's a buffet, nothing is explained. We see people ordering omelettes and coffee, but we didn't realise this was an option as we pre paid for our breakfast, again, no one explained anything.

Day 3- I ordered an omelette, I ask the tan waitress with brown hair if I could get an omelette, she doesn't even reply, but gestures with a smirk. 30 minutes go by, I see people receiving omelettes, people who have arrived after us, I ask again, she doesn't even acknowledge me with a word, 45 mins later, I explain we have to check out, could you please let me know how much longer, she walks off and doesn't come back. 1 hour later, I ask someone else, a blonde waitress (lovely for a change) apologises firstly (finally some acknowledgement), and it's confused about my wait, I see the rude waitress come running and shouts something in french, and gives me a dirty look, the nice waitress says there's a problem in the kitchen, let me go and see whats going on, she came back with an omelette (I'm so shocked at this point), unfortunately it came to me completely raw, and I'm someone who doesn't mind a slightly runny egg, but check the attached pictures for yourself!

Lastly the amenities, for an establishment that is this highly rates in stars and charges this much, my husband and I were really shocked with the lack of amenities in the rooms, no hair conditioner, no iron, no little things like face creams, toothpaste, a shaver etc, this was the same in the spa unfortunately.

Lage : Ca 3 Km von der Croissette wo es eigentlich abgeht…

Mitarbeiter : Sehr unfreundlich, in der email stand nix und vor Ort wurde 600€ Kaution gefordert !

Test Feueralarm ging morgens um 8.00 Uhr los sodass ich direkt eine Migräne Attacke bekommen habe…

Also meiner Meinung nach ist das Hotel eher ein 3 Sterne Hotel statt 5 Sterne.. Nie mehr wieder komme ich hier her !
