The vegetarian options are virtually non existent, except for one crepe with St Marcellin cheese and pears which is very odd. We opted for the goat cheese salad which mentioned ham. I said we were vegetarians and what could they replace the ham with. After consultation with the Chef we were given the option of smoked salmon (!) or poached egg. We obviously chose the latter, how could a chef not know that vegetarians don't eat fish? The salad composed of the bitter mesclun lettuce and lamb's lettuce which tasted bitter and unpleasant, very odd choice! Two or three cherry tomatoes cut in half, so almost nothing, the poached egg and goat cheese on toast. Very little dressing. It would have worked better with the usual feuille de chêne lettuce and more cherry tomatoes.
