This site, like all other French city campsites, hutopia or otherwise are all about location, you would only go if you needed to be in the location for something, I needed to catch an early train. The prices on these sites are per-pitch no matter what you camp with. I have a pitch of perhaps 100m2 and my tent is less than 2m2. 5 star? Well maybe, but mostly the same as the 2 star I am on tonight, the only difference for a tent camper on a bicycle seems to be the inclusion of toilet paper. I stayed here about 20 years ago and feel there were more available pitches and some rando pitches too, and the shop was open, it had a better feel. Seems to be moving to a resort style of cabins / glamping and away from traditional camping, perhaps that is normal. Typical city site really, just like in Paris, fine if you like the hum of the city street all night. When I leave real world reviews I often get a response that suggest either my fault or to lower my expectations, we will see what the response might bring. I enjoyed seeing the goats.

Camping bien équipé, Logement spacieux et propre. Bien placé devant une gare de Tramway pour visiter. Accès à la piscine du petit port en basse saison.

Je recommande vivement pour l accueil , la qualité des infrastructures, la situation géographique, l accès direct au centre ville en tram, |Les logements sont de très belles qualité , très confortables |Le site est très agréable , spacieux , calme , bien sécurisé |Je viens régulièrement à Nantes et logé au camping du petit port à chaque fois , en toute saison

Nous sommes venus pour un tournoi de hockey, idéalement placé car juste en face de la patinoire, pas besoin d’utiliser sa voiture, une petite buvette à l’entrée
Même des entrées, piscine offertes
La responsable à l’accueil nous a très bien accueilli et très sympathique !
Nous avons pu bénéficier d’un départ tardif, ce qui nous a permis de laisser notre petit chien le temps de finir le tournoi de hockey

We hebben er enkele nachten gestaan met een camper. We waren laat aangekomen, maar de receptie was nog steeds bemand en het personeelslid stond ons enthousiast, correct en uiterst vriendelijk te woord.

Staanplaats voor camper was vrij vlak, mooi gelegen tussen bomen en aan een beekje. Alles vrij kort op elkaar, maar toch verbazingwekkend rustig.

Gemeenschappelijk sanitair was modern en uiterst proper. Klein winkeltje en bar met simpele gerechten (bv pizza) maakten het geheel af. In april was het eigen openluchtzwembad gesloten, maar we mochten gratis naar het tegenoverliggende gemeentelijk zwembad. Gratis minigolf.

Openbaar vervoer (tramhalte) net aan de uitgang van de camping : op minder dan 10’ sta je in het centrum van Nantes.

Kleine verbetersuggestie: de watertoevoer voor campers maakt gebruik van niet/alledaagse kraantjes - gratis adapter ter beschikking stellen?
