We dined at La Loco twice — once for lunch, and once for dinner — before our trip to Mont Saint-Michel. The experience much better than expected — classic French brasserie food, warm atmosphere, and solid execution all around.
Lunch was casual but satisfying: a platter of oysters on ice, a hearty steak-frites, and a quick crème brûlée. Later in the evening, we returned for something a bit more elaborate — lobster and the risotto both great.
For a brasserie so close to the station, the evening service and ambiance leaned toward fine dining, with warm lighting and elegantly presented dishes that exceeded expectations.
????Tips: Oysters and seafood mains are fresh and generously portioned.

Reste la déco de la salle, plus chaleureuse que le personnel.

I tried one entry, which was very delicious. It was some salad and a crepe filled with cheese and vegetables. My main dish was the codfish with vegetables and sauce nantaise. It tasted very nice, but I have to say the cod tasted a little lame. I feel like it was subdued instead of grilled, which wasn’t the optimal choice. I had bigger hopes for this one. Dessert was the nantaise cake - very very delicious. All in all, great experience with one little disappointment.
