The camp is mainly residential stays and needs plenty of tiding up, looks scruffy. Toilets and showers need re-vamping, showers were cold at 5:30pm.
Book in advance if you want a guaranteed spot.

Le plus grand internet du camping c'est sa proximité avec le cap Gris Nez et Blanc Nez
Het sanitair is basic maar bruikbaar en wordt voldoende onderhouden. Verwacht geen luxe, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Groot pluspunt is de ligging: op wandelafstand van de zee, wat deze plek ideaal maakt voor wie een strandvakantie zoekt zonder veel poespas.
Kortom: een degelijke, eerlijke camping voor wie niet op zoek is naar animatie of glamping, maar wel naar rust, ruimte en een betaalbare uitvalsbasis aan. Wij komen graag terug!
Der Platz hat sehr viel Flair.
Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind sehr nett.
Leider sind die Sanitäranlagen wirklich übel, deswegen sind wir auch weiter gereist.
Wären ansonsten dort geblieben.

What makes this campsite truly special is its authentic atmosphere. There are no mobile homes or permanent bungalows, only real campers with caravans, motorhomes, and tents. This creates a very pleasant and genuine camping flair. The site is shared by a mix of year-round campers, seasonal guests, and short-term visitors, which brings a nice variety and a friendly spirit.
For families, there is a lovely playground that children will really enjoy. It’s well kept and a great place for the little ones to play and make new friends.
One of the biggest highlights of La Source is its international watersports community. We met windsurfers, wingerfoilers and kitesurfers from France, Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands. Despite coming from different countries, everyone was open and welcoming. We felt quickly included and appreciated the relaxed and respectful interaction among all campers.
In short, Camping Municipal La Source is not about luxury – it’s about a down-to-earth, heartwarming camping experience with a unique international flair. Especially for watersports lovers, it’s an ideal place to stay.
Seule la situation est bien et l'accueil.
Par contre c'est 2 jours qui sont revenus cher!! Je suis allée prendre ma douche dans les préfabriqués.les douches sont propres mais l'eau est bouillante.j'ai eu une brûlure du second degrés,pas par l'eau, mais comme les tuyaux sont à nu et en me retournant ma peau à été en contact avec le tuyau.
Entre tous les soins et produits à acheter,ce weekend est revenu cher.
L'établissement est au courant !!
Faîtes attention à vos enfants
Cold showers with a pull chain so you can't wash properly, and wash up areas with leaves and twigs in outdoor basins. Toilets with no lights, hand wash basins or toilet paper. It's like a 1960s young offenders camp and is in need of a radical make over. The long term caravan campers make the place look tired and shabby. The only plus is the short walk to the beach.
