Très bien accueilli au Lensotel.
Habituellement pour des formations et réunions professionnelles, nous avons eu l'occasion d'y séjourner pour un repas de fin d'année d'entreprise.
L'accueil et l'ensemble des prestations étaient tous simplement extrêmement agréable, la chambre parfaite, propre et chaleureuse, la literie confortable.
Merci à l'ensemble des perso..es présente à cette soirée du 16 Décembre 2023.

Francis at reception speaks very good English and he's a very pleasant guy. The steak dinner was amazing. Very good steak.
My main issue with the hotel is the room design. On the positive side, you get very big bed and even a mini fridge.
On the negative side, firstly the toilet is in a separate room to the bathroom, which means you have to exit toilet and go to bathroom to wash hands without touching the toilet door handle.
Secondly there are no power points at bedside. They are located at the front of the room near the TV. So you can't really charge your phone near your bedside.
Lastly, I could not work out how to turn the heating off. The controls on the wall don't seem to do anything.

Hôtel situé dans la zone commerciale de Cora Lens. Il est calme, les chambres sont bien entretenues (bon matelas) donnant une vue sur la piscine (on n'en a pas profité car on est en octobre), avec une terrasse équipée d'une table et 2 chaises plus un cendrier pour les fumeurs... Il faut demander du chauffage à l'accueil, qui le déclenche, car il y faisait froid. La salle de bain est correcte, mais il y manque un peu d'éclairage au niveau du miroir. Côté télévision, toutes les chaînes annoncées ne sont pas toutes présentes. Le wifi est gratuit et correct.
Pour ce qui est du restaurant, très bon : souris d'agneau avec un accompagnement adapté aux légumes de saison...et un café gourmand très gourmand.
Le personnel est aux petits soins avec la clientèle.
Pour un séjour calme, on y reviendra.

La chambre est un peu vieux style pour celle que j'occupais.

Lensotel in Vendin le Visio, France has older rooms that are clean. The beds are comfy and the shower is hot with excellent pressure.
The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained. There is a pool, children’s play area and water fountain.
At night, the hotel is extremely quiet.
The restaurant is excellent. The food is tasty, good sized portions and at the right price. The staff was very friendly and efficient. There were a lot of people dining and the waiters never stopped moving.
The breakfast was also delicious. Scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, breads, cheeses, etc. They even have a fresh orange juice squeezer machine. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful.
The true star is Frances at the reception desk. He is so warm and welcoming. His smile is contagious and his humor is infectious.

Je reconnais avoir été très surpris par cet établissement qui, de l’extérieur, ne paye pas de mine. J’y suis allé pour un mariage, le jardin intérieur avec la piscine et les arbres est vraiment sympa. Le personnel est très agréable et très souriant.
