Great warm indoors pool, comfortable beds, bedroom temperature good, good ventilation in bathroom, clean throughout, delicious breakfast with a variety of options

I am writing this from our room now. We are in room 4 on the ground floor of the main building. We paid around £125 for one night.||The room itself is small but okay. Comfy bed and plenty of storage.||The worst bit - The bathroom, and especially the toilet, is very small. As a 6 foot tall bloke, it is almost unusable. I does not resemble the picture on the hotels official website AT ALL! ||It is June and 30 degrees and there is no air-conditioning in any of the rooms. There are fans provided, but you cannot leave the windows open on the ground floor, as there is no way to lock them. There us NO ventilation in the bathroom and no window, it is like a sauna in there at the moment. I have added some pictures, but they don't really show how cramped it is, and also a screenshot from the hotel website for this room type.||Check out is 12 noon which was one of the attractions for us, but the cleaner has just come in to the room at 10.30am, and despite the door being locked, because there is no do not disturb signs available in the room.||The hotel building and grounds are very pretty and well kept. There is plenty of free parking and the breakfast was good.||The breakfast and swimming pool are in separate building to the main hotel. Great in the summer but maybe not so great if it rains. The Pavillion has rooms in the same building as the pool.||In summary then, a lovely hotel in a good location, but I personally would not stay here again. Definitely not in a Charme room anyway, and would choose a hotel with AC available in the summer. I believe we paid too much for the experience we had.

Niché en pleine nature, l’établissement offre un cadre idyllique. Le calme ambiant, le chant des oiseaux et les jardins parfaitement entretenus nous ont permis de nous ressourcer pleinement.||La chambre est spacieuse et élégamment décorée, avec une vue imprenable sur le parc. Mention spéciale au restaurant du château : la cuisine est raffinée avec un service à la fois chaleureux et professionnel.

Très bien||Piscine en deça de ce que j'espérais. La température de l'eau était plutôt à 25 degrés que les 28 annoncés.Les dimensions sont modestes (12m X 5m).|| La literie n'est pas de bonne qualité. Au diner, il n'y avait plus de foie gras disponible, pourtant avec supplément.||Les chambres ne sont pas climatisées, mais ventilateur à disposition sur demande.||
