Love, love, love Auberge d'Inxent! We've been coming here for 18 years! The perfect stop off at the start and end of our french holidays - always! We were slightly anxious when the previous owner left in 2019. (Pre Covid, great timing on his part!) But the new manager Aurélie is a delight. So welcoming. Great food, great wine and fabulously updated rooms. We have stayed in all five of them now and couldn't choose between them. We wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! It's our favourite place.❤️

What a superb little gem in a very pretty village setting. Less than 1 hour from The Tunnel. Stayed overnight on the way down to La Rochelle. We arrived late, after restaurant had closed but Clement was extremely helpful made sure we had a lovely bottle of red wine waiting in our room at our request. We enjoyed the stay so much we booked the return journey overnight and had a fabulous meal in the restaurant. In fact it was the best meal and best experience we had all week, beating the 5* stay in La Rochelle.|Rooms were spacious and bed very comfy. Hot shower, and a good nights sleep. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh baguette and pastries.|All in all a 10 out of 10 experience. Communication from initial enquiry to checking out, cannot fault it. Will certainly be back.
