Great hotel in a central location to explore the Opal Coast!

The staff were extremely rude the beds felt liek lying on a pike of bricks. The pillows were lunpy and mosquite infested rooms with bedbugs. We found a flying ants nest inside of our room. Everyone in our room was covered in bites. The food was completely inedible. The water was warm and tasteful very strange. We had to drive half an hour to a supermarket to eat a decent meal. Had to buy 10 bottles of water. Dont even get me started on my sleep. Women knocked our door theiughtout the night and people next door to us were banging around. Strange banging noises were going on next door u til 4am. Any random starnger can walk into our room since there is no lock on the inside. Neither our bathroom or shower had locks on. So felt extremly unsafe. I went to the toliet during the middle of the day and some ranodm man who was tall wearing a hasbin hotel shirt harrased me until i gahe him my nimber . Staff were extremely rude and said aome quite upsetting words towards me and my fellow friends. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

I went on a school trip and it was one of the most terrible places I've had to stay. Firstly, the rooms: they were cramped, the beds full of bedbugs and had insects crawling from every corner. My friends ended up with around 5 to 7 bed bugs over the course of a day and the state of the room was ridiculous. As soon as we entered there were insects all over the ceiling and walls, which was an unpleasant experience. The rooms also tended to be stiflingly warm with the ability to increase heating in the bathrooms bur no way to make the rooms cooler. However. I will say that the bathrooms were quite decent with good water pressure and temperature and were quite clean.
Next the food was horrendous. The restaurant was extremely unhygienic as you couldn't go a single meal without having a fly hover near you. The breakfasts were fine - they had bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, cereal, yogurt and fruit as well was orange juice and hot chocolate. The water situation was ridiculous- many people sighted small insects inside their cups and said the water tasted bad. We were expected to bring our own bottles to refill, but we could only do so from our bathroom sink rather than a separate place for drinking water. For dinner, I have never seen a worse combination of foods. Some of the things we were served was tomatoes with badly cooked sweetcorn, slightly hard rice, Stale but reheated spaghetti, and an extremely average lasagna. The highlights of the meals were bread and dessert. The lunches provided for us when we left the premises were not very inclusive as we were all given bread rolls with things like unwashed lettuce and ham or cheese but many people in my school are vegetarian and their rolls simply consisted of lettuce with butter. They also gave us an equivalent of apple flavoured baby food to go with the meal with a packet of crisps and biscuits, but no drink which I found ridiculous. Finally. DON'T GO HERE! The food is disgusting, the rooms are way too cramped and it absolutely stinks. I've heard of bugs in other people's rooms. There's no lick in the bathrooms the windows are broken and the curtains are half off the wall. It's very dirty outside and quite dangerous too!

Food is disguising and appalling. my coach driver got food poisoning from the undercooked food. Little trays are handed to each table to serve yourself like the lazy gits they are and it’s very unsanitary and found 3 hairs in the stew I refused to eat because it had an appalling aftertaste. Low budget and looks like leftovers from an infants potty. The beds creak and are infested with bugs. Not worth the visit. Most food went back not eaten or touched to the kitchen. Animateurs weren’t interactive and made us do our work without them and did nothing.

the hospitality was great and me and my friends had a private chalet but the beds were quite shaky and noisy

I went on a school trip on December 9th till December 11th, I don’t know how I survived. The room was CRAMPED, bed bugs were everywhere and were visible on the beds, stains on the plates+cups AND the cutlery. Not to mention the food, me and my school stayed there for 3 days. The only time me and my friend ate was when we went to the Christmas market, we didn’t eat anything from the hotel. However many people who DID eat were sick the next day. Service was terrible, the main lady working there was rude and disrespectful to all the children. Every time we sat down to eat, our phones had to be placed flat on the table face down. If somebody got a message from their parents, they couldn’t open it. There was also NO service, so barely anybody could contact their parents about what an awful place it was. The window in my room didn’t close at all and was open really wide all night, nor did the bathroom door lock. There was no fire alarms in the rooms and some of the lights flickered. The stairs curve round and the light above them wasn’t working, so many people slipped and fell. The rooms had 2 bunk beds and 1 regular bed, which all were placed directly under diagonal curved ceiling which made many people bang their heads and wake up with bruises. This was my first time leaving the country and it was such a horrible experience. France itself was lovely, but everyone mood was ruined when they had to return back to the hotel. Some kid also had an allergic reaction with the hotel knowing about the allergy and did nothing to prevent it, he had to go get his own EPI Pen.

So for a short summary, don’t go. Nothing about this hotel was good. And when I say nothing, I mean nothing.

stayed for 4 days on a school trip and do not recommend at all. breakfast was good. lunches were bread sandwiches stuffed with butter to the point of my friends and i scraping it out because it was so sickening. towards the last days of our stay we were served butter and lettuce sandwiches. horrid. dinners were borderline awful; we were served a variety of dishes however very poorly made and clearly trying to cut costs through food. the pizza given was stale bread smothered in tomato paste with no cheese or very little, options for vegetarians and muslim students were extraordinarily limited eg. plain spaghetti and a sausage. the water tasted of metal and acidic. the food was unseasoned, the entire place had a sickly smell to it and smelt of sewage when you went outside in the morning. staff were moderately friendly.

Weird. The whole place was weird. To start off we couldn't lock our door and what looked like an old chain lock hat been destroyed. We had to keep our shoes outside the room, i understand there dont want dirt on the room carpets and taken shoes off before entering but keeping shoes outside the room, just weird. The shower was a cold drip but rest of the bathroom was quite nice. There was a door in our room which we just assumed was a wardrobe but no it was a door that lead to the room next to us, it did not lock the handle fell off as soon as you touch it. Apparently a cleaner was supposed to go in every day, obviously didn't happen there was still crumbs on the floor but as soon as i went to the toilet after a day trip out the blind was open which we were told to not open again weird. The food was awful the meat looked completely processed and we had to clean the table ourselves. A friend asked for some more bread in the kitchen in English, the cook pushed her because she didnt ask in French. No wifi as well. The staff were way to energetic to present such a low quality "hotel". Also, as soon as i was in the room something just didnt feel right my heart was pounding, i was tense and my eyes were wide it was as if it was haunted in the room because in the dining room i did not feel like this.

I went there on January 22nd-24th 2024 and it was absolutely amazing! The sight, ruddy brilliant! Make me think of harry potter though

Idyllic setting in nature. Charming hotel with excellent customer service, very friendly staff.
Rooms are spotless, simple, the views are spectacular!
Beds were very comfortable, good wardrobe space and strong shower. Family friendly and would visit again.

Très bon accueil, chambre trés correct avec tous le nécessaire qu'on attend d'un trois étoiles.|Restaurant sympa avec un coin bar et une grande terrasse. Bonne cuisine.|Petit déjeuner copieux. Bref une adresse à retenir pour vos séjours dans le pas de calais à 15 kilométres de la mer

Y étant allé que pour manger je trouve que c’est une très bonne cuisine et que le personnel est très accueillant et souriant. De plus l’endroit est calme et apaisant.

+Belle base. La chambre, 4 adultes est très spacieuse, propre.
L'implantation autour du domaine pourrait être plus soignée, il manque un peu de maintenance et un petit nettoyage. Petit-déjeuner copieux, constamment réapprovisionné. Bien entretenu, quelque chose pour tout le monde.
-WiFi ne fonctionne pas du tout. Pas même dans la partie centrale, alors que c'est indiqué comme offre.
Le restaurant n'est pas ouvert les lundis et mardis, dommage.

Excellent moment passé à l'hôtel du moulin aux draps. L'accueil et l'endroit sont merveilleux.
Idéal pour se ressourcer en pleine nature. Ballade en foret, brasserie sur place. Tout y est.

C'était un endroit charmant où séjourner. Tranquille et reposant. La nourriture était bonne et l'hospitalité était superbe. Je recommanderais cet hôtel à tous ceux qui sont en famille ou en voyage scolaire (comme nous l'étions). La direction a encouragé les enfants à parler français et a fait en sorte que tout le monde se sente le bienvenu

Restaurant : Nous étions venus en espérant retrouver l'expérience gustatives de nos précédentes venus il y a 9 /10 ans. Et nous avons vécu une réelle déception. Des produits industriels, surgelés et des cuissons ratés. Rien n'est maison cela correspond à une cantine . Seule panorama et le service est correct. Et l'on voit aussi qu'il y a du laissé allé car même les extérieurs ne sont plus entretenu. C'est malheureux car il y a du potentiel.

au restaurant du moulin aux draps, j'ai particulièrement aimé le panorama. Tout simplement magnifique.

29€ le repas, sauce industrielle, poisson surgelé, fagot de haricot vert surgelé, et en dessert, mille feuille aux franboises seulement de nom, de la patte feuilletée avex 4 franboises et en guise de crème, de la chantilly en bombe !!!
