The location for le shuttle is perfect but I think the rooms need updating for the price you pay, also this was the last hotel we stayed at on our 2 week road trip and it was the worst breakfast out of them all.

Very nice well priced and easily accessed hotel

We repeatedly stay at Sure hotel,Coquelles on our trips back to the UK from Luxembourg.|I value the warm welcome, freedom to come and go, secure parking and breakfast option.|This stay is value for money with clean and modern hotel room. Piping hot water and comfy beds. I know where I will be returning to stay when next in Coquelles.

We thought it was dog friendly. Friendly in the sense they will let you pay to have yours in your room, but not friendly enough to allow dogs in the bar and cafe type area. Generally past its best decor both externally and internally. Rooms are small and have a shabby feel to them in general. No shower gel in the dispenser, which I discovered after beginning to shower. No air conditioning, either. Least, not in the room we had. Would be ghastly on a really hot night. Noise from other rooms is very apparent. Every flush, every click…Pluses? Staff were polite enough and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was also good with hot sausages and boiled egg making facilities. Bed was also comfortable. Car parking was plentiful. Be mindful the place locks itself up at 10 p.m. with the main entrance gate locked and also the entry to the hotel itself. No staff visible. You need to be in possession of the code for both. The Sure Hotel is what it is - a cheap hotel for generally one night stays for people travelling back to England via the Tunnel (ten minutes away). That said, it displays shortcomings that a similar priced hotel we stayed in the night before did not.

Despite the location and proximity to the Tunnel being great, this place was a huge no for us. |Yes, the room was teeny tiny and also the bathroom, but the worst thing by far were the concrete beds. They were absolutely solid and both of us woke up with aching backs. Despite being exhausted, we were both awake by 3.30am, drifted off and then awake again by 5am as they were so uncomfortable. How people can say the beds are good is beyond us. The pillows were equally abysmal and the duvet heavy and solid. Thank goodness we travel with our own pillows. Linen was clean but hard and crunchy. |The bathroom was so very tiny it was almost unworkable. We had to turn sideways to clean our teeth as, being right handed, our elbows knocked into the wall. The shower head was so calcified, the water didn’t really spray… it just sort of mostly dribbled out in a fat stream. Anyone of any size simply wouldn’t be able to function in the over bath shower, it was that tight. The whole room quickly became steamed up and dripping wet. There were no hand towels, just 2 bath sized ones. ||Plus side…the room was clean as was the bathroom. The gentleman at check in was very pleasant and spoke excellent English. The parking was plentiful and secure. Breakfast was available but we didn’t take it. The bar and public areas looked fine.|There was no traffic noise at night but it did become very noisy pretty early on with doors banging as people left. |If the beds had been ok, the size of the room was just about bearable for a one night stop off but given they were so awful, it was an unmitigated disaster for us. |There is absolutely no way we would stay there again.
